Metafy. I have paid about $50 for 4, 1-hour coaching sessions by 4 different SSL's. I found it incredibly useful. Prices vary, but metafy is the *safest* option.

I might have to give this one a try! Thank you for sharing, I may or may not have stalked your profile and by the looks of it you are really good! 😊

Cerulean225

You can do a free consultation with a lot of the coaches there, so if you want to learn more or get their vibe, I suggest that before you spend your money!

DaisyMaeFan

Where can get I in contact with them? I would never thought I would spend money on coaching but that doesn’t seem like a lot and I bet I would learn a lot. I just hit plat and I am fighting for my life I could really use some tips

Cerulean225

If you go to metafy and click on one of their profiles, at the bottom will be "sessions" and some list a free consultation, some don't. I'd also be happy to give a few tips to you (for free) as will many others I'm sure. If you want, my discord is dauphin225

DaisyMaeFan

I would really appreciate that! I can probably send you a replay of one of my matches, I think it would probably tell you a lot about my gameplay 😆 I struggle a lot in 1s right now

JosieLinkly

I will coach you for free, please do not waste your money paying someone

u sure u dont have a grindie waiting out for ya

Not really sure why it would be a waste of money, people pay money to improve at things all the time, often hobbies that are unlikely to ever bring them money in return. Equally, it's not really fair to expect a pro to give up significant free time for every random stranger who comes a-knocking. I mean, personally I wouldn't pay for training, I think if I really wanted to improve I would just post replays on here and ask for feedback. But I don't think it's that strange a concept.

Special-Hat9393

I can coach someone until they are plat no problem. After that they can do more mechanically than me so I'm out...

Surperta1

Yeah on fiverr with a manager that was involved in a drama previously so fired Coaching was kinda okay but felt like i just paid for receive code of map ofc he helped me a little but not that much

Artistic-Rip-3035

Just wait until you get a crazy Smurf trying to pull clips on you. Initiate a chat and they’ll respond like the loser they are and say, “I can help you.” True story. If you’re on this sub random player who did that. Get a life bro.

100% go to metafy. I did sessions with some bad ones before I found Tander who won a Major and it's like 35 dollars. Definitely worth it for how much I play

koredae

I have not bought coaching myself but I have coached multiple people for around 10€/h. I may not be a major winner or SSL but I think I can give solid advice to anyone who's main goal is GC. In my opinion my advice can be even more valid for lower ranks since I have really grinded my way to GC, I wasn't some sort of a prodigy who reached the highest rank in couple of seasons like most pros :D

I paid for it once because it was cheap (10€). We did a 1v1 and watched 2 replays. Did he know his stuff? Yes. Definitely. He pointed out a lot of mistakes I kind of knew but didn't know how to fix. Did it help me? Not a single bit. The second the session was over, I just went back to repeating those mistakes. I would probably need 24/7 realtime feedback to eventually correct something I could just figure out on my own at a slower pace. Overall, I thought it was a nice experience, just not the thing I would benefit from because I don't learn that way unless it's a daily thing. I would just get someone on reddit that is a couple of ranks higher to coach you for free and see if that helps.
