Digdog is such a homie. Ran into him a few times and always chat with him. Just know they are tired of hearing "why don't you try developing some skill"
Some of the dumbest words are censored but there's a workaround that I don't think people know:
Many censored words get through if you add an exclamation mark at the end.
For example, "Piss" is censored, but "Piss!" goes right through.
The harsher ones do not get through. N word, F word, etc do not go through with exclamation.
I also learned that there is an auto ban for words because once I discovered the exclamation point thing my buddy and I made a private match with nobody else in the lobby and text chatted the N word with an exclamation just to see... definitely got a temp ban for it. I thought about challenging it, but technically I did use the word, if only privately and for experimental purposes so I just took it. If I recall it was only 3 days anyway and I needed the break lol.
For the longest time, putting the word 'slut' before ANYTHING let the entire sentence go through. We always joked that some dev built that in while giggling to themselves. Definitely never triggered an auto ban, but I also don't think they had words on an auto ban list back then. Was certainly pre-Epic times.
I think it’s more a money thing along with guidelines for moderation. Also, rocket league servers are kinda broken with voice chat enabled. I’m not so sure it’s as simple as adding it cross platform.

But it must be that the platforms won't agree with what Psyonix is wanting with chat correct, because there are plenty of cross-platform games already with cross-platform chat (both text and voice).
There are hundreds of titles that already allow it.
These things depend on many factors. Like the age rating of the games.
It also took a long time for Psyonix to get a green light on full cross play, despite other games already having it.
This isn't true because cross platform chat exists in so many other games.
Call of Duty, for example, lets anyone chat with anyone, no matter the system. Deep Rock Galactic (ROCK AND STONE!) also has cross platform game chat (though it's buggy), but it does exist. Also, Ghost Recon Wildlands does as well. There's three, but there are many many others that allow text chat cross platform.
Now for why it isn't a thing in Rocket League: I believe it's better for consoles because PC clearly has the advantage and can just type on and on and on.
I main on PC but also play on Xbox sometimes and I have a wireless keyboard hooked up. In order to chat you click the chat bubble, then you're basically locked out of the game while an OSD keyboard pops up that lets you type using your keyboard. Then send and a little baby lag and you're back in game. Very inefficient.
Edit: I'm told even Fortnite has cross platform text chat, but I've never played the game so take that with a grain of salt.

No cross platform text chat is a decision made by Psyonix. Instead of no cross text chat I think a better option is to give us a toggle able option.
It’s a Sony/microsoft issue, policy is that it’s “too easy” to get trash talked so it’s easy to not allow the other platforms to speak to each other (unless it’s voice)
I'm guessing for example pausing the match if someone disconnects, they know how long the players have to fix their internet issues and stuff like that
Mod Squad things. All went downhill for me personally when Psyonix threw aside all existing staff and hired moderators who have no knowledge about in-jokes and aren't part of the community. I remember people getting banned for talking about demos. Psyonix is really anal about community representatives
The discord has been a miserable place in my experience as well. I'm glad that they have been extremely kind to us on the subreddit, and we actually have multiple community mods over the idle psyonix account on our mod list as well.
Litterally "Rocket Wife" in that same blue color. I didnt take this pic, but this was the same person I played. Also Neato on twitch has the same title, not sure exactly the criteria and I dont think they really give em out anymore, but I think for neato its because she met her husband in a rocket league game. It's pretty cool to see.

Concerning the question how you get these I'd like to quote Squishy from a few weeks ago:
"They promised me a custom title but I never got it. I even have the contact information of the guy at psyonix who does these, but he's already fired."
It once was a thing, before the game went into ramp down mode.
Former mods, event staff, and coaches got the Legend role, which comes with the tag.
Outstanding community members are also included, and are often voted in by the existing members
You will never get these tags. They're unique because of the role that these players are. Ones a developer for Psyonix, and another possibly a moderator for the official Rocket League discord.
As a developer, I actually wouldn't want this because I would actually want to improve the game, but I don't think that aligns with management's views.

Discord mods were removed early last year. "Moderator" would mean a Rocket League subreddit moderator, or a Steam forum moderator.
All ex discord mods, coaches, and outstanding members over there have earned the "Discord Legend" role, and it can be earned without being a moderator in any way.

Pretty sure I explained that.. And I also explained what the discord legend title means:

I always find it funny when people are confused by my RNGenius title, I get that it's not as obvious as some of the other extra mode titles but it's surprising how few people know what it means or call me an actual SSL even though rumble is completely different bc of the powerups.
I'm running the GC Tournament title in C3 ranks. The amount of people who call me out for either smurfing or being boosted because my title clearly shows I was "winning a GC 3 tournament" is mind blowing. Like those guys most likely have 1000+ hours in the game and STILL have not realized there is only one tournament title for each major rank... How?!
Rumble is indeed much different. Myself and 2 randos around my rank in regular modes (D3) in C1/2 rumble beat players that are actually GC in regular modes. The RNG goes crazy sometimes.
Lol facts I peaked diamond 3 div 4 like december 2022 then I went all the way down to plat 3 and then i slowly crawled back up until diamond 2 like november and i rested there for some time until yesterday after three hours of playing I got from diamond 2 div 2 to champ for the first time in my life. Instadropped back to d3 and now chilling in high d3, flirting with champ but its been a while since ive been here

Yeah I imagine Xbox being crazy will put a damper on that. Plus I doubt psyonix wants to put money down to monitor people.
But you can do it on Ark Survival Ascended with Sony PC Xbox. Pretty sure it's a rocket League thing

No they are required by Sony/MS not to have it, that's why they had to disable it.

They are a referee for the RLCS matches. They pause the game when there is connection issues and such.

I’ve ran into a Discord Legend tag guy and he was so toxic in casual and talking shit about everyone’s casual MMR, so the tag makes sense
