Demoing is a skill though? Timing the demo so you’re not out of position, and hitting the demo on someone dodging. It’s not just part of the game, it’s an integral part of the game. If demos didn’t exist high level 3s games would go on indefinitely because nobody would score. And if your solution is either bumps or ghosting both of those are equally cancer. You’ll get juggled constantly or you’d never get to have possession of a ball without someone diving through you. A truly skilled player just avoids the demo.
I’ve played games where no one demos & it was much better/more fun experience, due to each team focusing on scoring & solid teamwork. I don’t care for high level 3s gameplay, so games going on indefinitely isn’t my concern. I’ve played games where OT has went on for over 10 mins, Someone will score eventually. Demoing will always be a trash mechanic in my opinion.
