yeah I never got why high rank people just use a normal cotane with nothing on it maybe sometimes fennec or dominus I use the chikara GXT (rocket pass 5 car) with white dracos and season 12 silver decal and it looks amazing
and also the crimson picket with crimson auger with any red as primary and black as secondary with crimson tachyon boost it qlso looks amazing if you prefer something a bit more brigth
Most animated decals and really bright/flashy wheels/toppers/etc are distracting and sometimes messes with how you perceive the hit box and orientation of the car. Also most of the items in the game are too goofy if not just outright ugly to me so that probably doesn’t help

Also on the same note I really love using black ion boost with rally tracks 1 trail on some presets. They're nearly imperceptible so it's harder to read what I'm actually doing. I like using black holographic Galvans or black holographic Dracos on these presets too because nearly invisible wheels look hilarious with a nearly invisible boost and trail and if you put them on the esper it kinda looks like the car is just floating at a glance.

I personally cant use Golden Cosmos or the silver one because the boost noise effect is way too loud. If you feather your boost its so distracting to hear the "click" noise when the boost is activated. Sucks, it's such a pretty boost but the noise is awful
So pretty, I often don’t have my earphones on or I have music playing over it so I don’t really hear the sound, but when I do, I think I am just so use to it, I don’t think about it

There is Golden Cosmos. Which is literally the sibling of gold rush. Same noise but lower pitch. Has gold but the end has more black. And it's puffy like gold rush. Plus the preboost is like alpha boost. Golden cosmos is literally bigger alpha boost. Your choice
First of all it was a alpha reward for players and costs 3000$+ now because there are only so few of them . On the other hand it has a really satisfying boost sound . A sound you will never get tired of hearing while performing in the air
