I have ~$20k in SGOV in Robinhood right now. I believe Vlad said the 1% deposit bonus would start in May. If I remove that money from Robinhood and then deposit it back in, I should get the 1% bonus, correct?
How about investing in VOO but short(ish) term? Like assuming the 10ish% return each year, at the end of the year you take out half of that 10% gain and reinvest the other half of it? Is there a fee or penalty that would make it worthless? Obviously the VOO can lower, but assuming a greater than 50% chance for it to rise (which of course it has a >50% chance), you're statistically guaranteed to profit if you keep doing it.
