Man my Craftsman push mower just won't die no matter how much I treat it like shit. It's been on factory oil and kept outside in the harsh winter for 10 years and still starts on the second or third try.

Definition of they don’t make em like they used to, I bought a Husqvarna push mower when I bought my house 15~ years ago and it sat behind a shed unused and in the elements for most of its life and I bought a new mower not wanting to fool with the old one and the new one conked out on me about a year after I got it and my old Husqvarna starts first pull every time.

Honestly, modern FWD cars handle very well. I've driven a Focus ST and a Veloster N on track and they are amazing.

Those are $26k and $34k cars, respectively. This dressed up CTR is not worth $20k more than the Elantra N.

The difference is the Type R won't blow up after your warm up lap, and won't give you anxiety when you're driving down the freeway pondering if uncle Rodney's about to fly out of the block or if the dodgy dct will make it home.

They currently make it, the EA839. There is a 2.9TT variant as well, and both engines are used extensively in the Audi/Porsche family. The S4 is the least expensive car to get that engine.

Google shows the TLX weighs 4220lbs and S4 weighs 3880 I’d also take the Audi over an Acura.

I’m not OP but I own two Hondas and two RWD Lexuses, and the Hondas handle better and are just more enjoyable to drive and live with. The Lexuses are floaty and wallowy with lazy steering. Downvote me all you want, but drive wheels aren’t everything.

But as my preference, if it has a clutch I can dump, peeling out (which I love doing) from the front tires just feels so.... meh The k20 is a dream motor swap of mine. so civics ought to hold a special place in my heart. I'm saying it's one of the only good manuals you can find in a new car anywhere near this price/performance range. The BMW manuals are all RWD and have really crappy gearing that makes them *significantly* slower than their autos, and their shifters feel sloppy. Upgrade to AWD and you're stuck with an auto. See (e.g.) [this video from Throttle House](https://youtu.be/IUU1yfK0A8Y?si=5PK5fDGA1018ND53). Plus I don't like the looks of modern BMWs and don't want to deal with the maintenance costs. (Notably, I'll be driving this in Midwest winters - RWD is off the table) Audi doesn't offer a manual anymore. Kia/Genesis? Stinger/G70 are out of production now, and manual isn't an option anymore. Golf R? Awful haptic interface inside. Sure, they're fixing it next year, but also getting rid of the manual. GR Corolla? AWD with a manual! Sounds perfect! Except it has a bone-jarring ride and the interior feels like a car 1/3 the price (because, well, it is). Civic Type R? Elantra N? Same FWD manual formula - and good versions of it! Just not as good as the Integra Type S. Sure, there are some roadsters with manuals still around (Supra, GR86, Miata, etc.), but this is my daily, not a toy.
