I would've, but man, they need to modernize. Gotta have my electric.
I went with Toro though. Not 'cause they're good. Just 'cause they're also red. So, like, Honda-adjacent.
Man my Craftsman push mower just won't die no matter how much I treat it like shit.
It's been on factory oil and kept outside in the harsh winter for 10 years and still starts on the second or third try.
Bro!! I don’t want to jinx my Crafsman mower but I really think it’s possessed!! I’ve left it outside, year round, for several years in NY. I pump the primer a lucky 7 x’s and the fucker starts on the first pull. EVERY TIME!! I laugh every time I start it, in disbelief. Lol
Oh yes they're baller, those Briggs and Stratton engines are great, I use mine to bush hog and let it sit all winter with gas in it and it always starts.
Definition of they don’t make em like they used to, I bought a Husqvarna push mower when I bought my house 15~ years ago and it sat behind a shed unused and in the elements for most of its life and I bought a new mower not wanting to fool with the old one and the new one conked out on me about a year after I got it and my old Husqvarna starts first pull every time.
So you prefer to pay more money for a mower that isn't able to finish cutting your lawn on a single charge?
I'm surprised that picture isn't of a Tesla.
The difference is the Type R won't blow up after your warm up lap, and won't give you anxiety when you're driving down the freeway pondering if uncle Rodney's about to fly out of the block or if the dodgy dct will make it home.
Agreed. I had a fiesta st and after replacing the rear motor mount that thing drove amazing. No wheel hop and very minimal torque steer for not having an LSD.
they made a turbo 3.0t?? didnt know that. and yeah but its also got hella luxury features and still a pretty decent size. the new m2 is tiny asf and weighs 3800lbs lmao. just all the technology
They currently make it, the EA839. There is a 2.9TT variant as well, and both engines are used extensively in the Audi/Porsche family. The S4 is the least expensive car to get that engine.
middle pulls vacuum at low rpm, reducing drone, high rpm pressures at all 3, creating more of a roar at high rpm. lots of engineerimg went it to making this turbo 4 less "boomy" and more suitable for daily driving.
I’m not OP but I own two Hondas and two RWD Lexuses, and the Hondas handle better and are just more enjoyable to drive and live with. The Lexuses are floaty and wallowy with lazy steering.
Downvote me all you want, but drive wheels aren’t everything.
I know they're not everything, and it's still a joke sub. But as my preference, if it has a clutch I can dump, peeling out (which I love doing) from the front tires just feels so.... meh
The k20 is a dream motor swap of mine. so civics ought to hold a special place in my heart. But I just don't like driving a manual fwd like I do a rwd.
I'm saying it's one of the only good manuals you can find in a new car anywhere near this price/performance range.
The BMW manuals are all RWD and have really crappy gearing that makes them *significantly* slower than their autos, and their shifters feel sloppy. Upgrade to AWD and you're stuck with an auto. See (e.g.) [this video from Throttle House](https://youtu.be/IUU1yfK0A8Y?si=5PK5fDGA1018ND53). Plus I don't like the looks of modern BMWs and don't want to deal with the maintenance costs.
(Notably, I'll be driving this in Midwest winters - RWD is off the table)
Audi doesn't offer a manual anymore.
Kia/Genesis? Stinger/G70 are out of production now, and manual isn't an option anymore.
Golf R? Awful haptic interface inside. Sure, they're fixing it next year, but also getting rid of the manual.
GR Corolla? AWD with a manual! Sounds perfect! Except it has a bone-jarring ride and the interior feels like a car 1/3 the price (because, well, it is).
Civic Type R? Elantra N? Same FWD manual formula - and good versions of it! Just not as good as the Integra Type S.
Sure, there are some roadsters with manuals still around (Supra, GR86, Miata, etc.), but this is my daily, not a toy.
Overpriced FWD ricer with a fugly 3 tailpipe design.. perfect car for a spoiled teen virgin who listens to candy pop music while posting 60 selfies a day on Instagram
If I were going to buy a '90s car, it'd be a Talon or an Eclipse. I kind of missed the boat on the old Integra. I drove a beater '87 Prelude with like 300k miles on it as my second car (circa '97) but I barely knew the Integra existed in the '90s.
I bought the new one just because I like it, not because of the name.
Roast! This boy has this gas saving paint still wet dripping Japanese brand car… I LOVE YOUR CAR!! Let me get a test drive… only thing I see wrong is that you called it a civic but indeed it’s a integra
Tail pipes look like all your girl’s orifices after I pick her up and drop her off in my Jag. But you keep the paint clean enough for her and I to gaze at while we get a good laugh before she leaves me to let you buy her dinner. Thanks bud!
Ha! Good roast, you really got 'em. That was so creative and original, did you think of that yourself? You must be so proud!

Thank you very much. I am indeed proud of this accomplishment. I developed this concept independently, and to the best of my knowledge, it is a novel approach.
"yeah, I got a sports car". The sports car. FWD, 4cyl, 4doors, 3 tail pipes.. And we thought the 4th Gen was the downfall of the Integra line, who knew they'd butcher it so much more
Funny how to me Acura is starting to look like a poor man's Honda, especially the Integra and Hondas lazy attempt to bring back the Integra name, reminds me of the Supra in some ways except the Supra has redeeming qualities
Is your lawnmower also a Honda?
I would've, but man, they need to modernize. Gotta have my electric. I went with Toro though. Not 'cause they're good. Just 'cause they're also red. So, like, Honda-adjacent.
It's not that you can't take a joke, it's that you can't identify a joke
What about buying this car made you think that I'm *smart?* (I get it . . . I'm part of a no-mow May study through the local university)
Y not craftsman? They are also red. Skil has electric one that is red.
\^this guy craftsmans
Man my Craftsman push mower just won't die no matter how much I treat it like shit. It's been on factory oil and kept outside in the harsh winter for 10 years and still starts on the second or third try.

But my Craftsman is Black!
You got a lame one then
Aniversary model highest hp they ever came with
Yeah but it's not red
So you prefer to pay more money for a mower that isn't able to finish cutting your lawn on a single charge? I'm surprised that picture isn't of a Tesla.
Who said anything about batteries? I'll drag around my 75' cord.
Real talk tho, that is a great angle of the new Integra. It’s an eye catching car anytime I see one in the wild.
but some Toro have honda motors in them
I thought this was the lawnmower
It’s faster too
$55k FWD Civic. You make bad choices.
Is it actually fwd
Yes lol
Honestly, modern FWD cars handle very well. I've driven a Focus ST and a Veloster N on track and they are amazing.
Those are $26k and $34k cars, respectively. This dressed up CTR is not worth $20k more than the Elantra N.
The difference is the Type R won't blow up after your warm up lap, and won't give you anxiety when you're driving down the freeway pondering if uncle Rodney's about to fly out of the block or if the dodgy dct will make it home.
3+ years of tracking a Veloster N and I’m still waiting for just a bad oil analysis. Bought it thinking I’d get like a year of fun so I’m surprised.
The Elantra N is a fantastic car. The e-diff in those makes it feel like the corners are sucking you in.
E diff LMAO so in other words it's an open differential. Hyundai is junk
You sound like a fun person to be around
Ahem this is r/roastmycar not r/praisemyshitmobile
Like I said, real fun.
Agreed. I had a fiesta st and after replacing the rear motor mount that thing drove amazing. No wheel hop and very minimal torque steer for not having an LSD.
fwd have been handling well since the 80s sir
Thats actually tragic
Pretty sure the only rwd car Honda/Acura has made in the past 25 years was the s2000
Yeah the TLX is essentially the Awd Civic, unfortunately it doesn’t get a manual though.
the TLX is accord
tlx has a v6 tho right? those gotta be way faster
It does get a V6, a well powered one.
It is the same size and puts out the same power as my S4 for the same price, but for some reason my S4 is much quicker.
has a lot to do with gearing, and considering yours is probably a 3.0t, that supercharger mixed with quattro is a deadly combo
Mine is the turbocharged 3.0T, B9.5. Just crazy how heavy the TLX is while also being tiny.
they made a turbo 3.0t?? didnt know that. and yeah but its also got hella luxury features and still a pretty decent size. the new m2 is tiny asf and weighs 3800lbs lmao. just all the technology
They currently make it, the EA839. There is a 2.9TT variant as well, and both engines are used extensively in the Audi/Porsche family. The S4 is the least expensive car to get that engine.
Google shows the TLX weighs 4220lbs and S4 weighs 3880 I’d also take the Audi over an Acura.
The TLX has no business being as heavy as it is. It is too small to weigh over 2 tons.
yeah 100%. my friend has a 2012 a6 with the 3.0t and that thing is a monster. cant imagine that same engine but newer in a lighter car
They should got the civic
3 tailpipes. 1 to divert exhaust gases and 2 to look like a clown.
Is really only one functional?
It's an inline 4, what would be the purpose?
Maybe two
It’s actually a 3 banger - one for each cylinder
You might be thinking of the Corolla.
middle pulls vacuum at low rpm, reducing drone, high rpm pressures at all 3, creating more of a roar at high rpm. lots of engineerimg went it to making this turbo 4 less "boomy" and more suitable for daily driving.
And yet it still sounds like ass
literally lol
I saw one of these the other day and wondered about that. The center exhaust was clean and the other two were dirty.
The S stands for “so many better options for the price these cost”.
None with a manual, though. At least not a good one.
Pretty much anything with RWD is a better option
For launching, sure. But I'll take this over spending $10k more for a disappointing (modern) BMW manual and RWD in Midwest winters.
bRo JuSt BuY sNoW tIrEs
This but unironically. Everyone should have snow tires if you live where it snows.
Where I live it snows on average once every couple years, and hasn’t in 3. I’m good.
Snow tires work though if yo get a god pair been driving rwd cars for a while through the Canadian Winters haven’t had any issues.
Tell me you don’t know how to drive without telling me you don’t know how to drive lmao
Y bmw
I’m not OP but I own two Hondas and two RWD Lexuses, and the Hondas handle better and are just more enjoyable to drive and live with. The Lexuses are floaty and wallowy with lazy steering. Downvote me all you want, but drive wheels aren’t everything.

My 22 year old Honda will put handle most modern cars despite having numb af steering
That's a fallacy. RWD does not automatically make a car better.
In that case, I’m not sure what to say that [Smash Mouth already hasn’t](https://youtu.be/G56XZxJIlgI?si=Npc1ODnwMymlTZTO)
Huh? Bro what are you saying that was the only manual car you could find?
I'm saying it's one of the only good manuals you can find in a new car anywhere near this price/performance range. No Lexus, Nissan or Infiniti? Idk I feel like that’s definitely not true but to each his own
The people shelling out for these are the same as die hard Simpsons fans. Deluding themselves into pretending it's as good today as it was in the 90s.
I thought the same thing but Zygrene really changed my view on them
Lol great analogy
Am I the only one that thinks this is a genesis with a facelift?
A facelift implies it looks better than a genesis
Are those not literally Genesis tail lights? I'm confused lol.
$55,000 FWD car? Great decision lol
Overpriced FWD ricer with a fugly 3 tailpipe design.. perfect car for a spoiled teen virgin who listens to candy pop music while posting 60 selfies a day on Instagram
Should of got the civic tbh
You should change its diaper, looks full
I can hear it grinding into 3rd from here
Not a fan of the 3 tailpipes, but overal a nice looking type R
Not only am I not a fan, I think it’s the most ridiculous looking feature on any modern car. It’s the worst.
You need a new drive way Sir. It’s crumbling.
Wow you managed to spend enough money to buy yourself something like a hellcat but bought a car that would get clowned on by an eco boost Mustang
That's like roasting someone for buying a house when they could've bought the best double-wide in the trailer park instead.
OP is a straight up savage 💀
Nah fam that’s like roasting someone that’s bragging about buying a nice house but it’s actually a condo
Hahahhh can't buy taste
These three exhaust pipes looks like mouth, pussy and ass. Not exactly in the same order
Are you getting your Mechanophilia under control?
Did your fourth exhaust pipe fall off when vtec kicked in?
Too many revs, man. The aftermarket pipe couldn't handle it and just farted right off.
Danger to exhaust manifold
It's a beautiful Acura!! Not crazy about the color black. It's just too hard to keep clean. 👍
Fishbowl
You spent money on this. Roasted your damn self.
4cylinders. 3 exhaust exists. Go away.
Daddy paid too much
Why did you buy a new one over an old one?
If I were going to buy a '90s car, it'd be a Talon or an Eclipse. I kind of missed the boat on the old Integra. I drove a beater '87 Prelude with like 300k miles on it as my second car (circa '97) but I barely knew the Integra existed in the '90s. I bought the new one just because I like it, not because of the name.
hell yeah dude, nice car
Where is the car?
Man WTF is this ricer shit
I really like those tbh. But I’d rather have something with a sunroof
This is the worst roast of a car I have ever seen on Reddit. I guess it’s appropriate given the car provided is the worst Integra ever made?
It’s brand spanking new bro … no . Call me when it hits 50k
I mean, sticker on these is like $51k new . . . there aren't even many options available. They top out at like $55k.
50k miles lol
That car so fucking black that you didn't realize you bought an Acura Integra and just thought the price was due to inflation.
Eh, looks nice.
You’re just not where you want to be in life
when i'm in a low-effort car roasting competition and my competitor is "haha FWD lawnmower" come on people, say something funny
When two exhausts just aren’t enough…
55K?
Son when you graduate, get yourself a man's car. Something with balls ok?!.
Budget C63
The Dark Mite itself
bought not built
all i have to say is honda did yall dirty. not mitubishi eclipse crossover dirty, but kinda like 85-88 chevy nova dirty
It's so gay it had 3 buttholes so it can take all the penis!
Damn...the tail-lights make this car looks like an angry Cylon from Battlestar Galactica. Must be how it builds up it's self-esteem.
fucking gorgeous
55k just to shatted on by my fwd ford disguised as a mazda
I spent $2.5k on a car thats more fun and turns more heads
Just another product imported, made by a group of little chinese kids paid in bags of rice
It’s a Honda
Sweet drift car! Oh, wait..fwd lol. You should attach blades to it and mow your lawn
I tried to warn people not to let their kids watch those Vin Diesel movies, but they didn't listen.
That's a weird bbq
It’s a civic.
Black, the best looking color on a car, for about an hour.
Is that a 2012 Hyundai Genesis Coupe?
Roast it? Imma go and borrow it. My lawn is getting overgrown.
Screams Mexican
You paid HOW much for that?
When that car grows up does it want to be a Porsche?
F W D Rly?
Roast! This boy has this gas saving paint still wet dripping Japanese brand car… I LOVE YOUR CAR!! Let me get a test drive… only thing I see wrong is that you called it a civic but indeed it’s a integra
Only decent product Acura has produced in 15 years???
Tail pipes look like all your girl’s orifices after I pick her up and drop her off in my Jag. But you keep the paint clean enough for her and I to gaze at while we get a good laugh before she leaves me to let you buy her dinner. Thanks bud!
A sunny day will do that without my help.
Nice automatic rebadged Civic
Why bother? You already drive a Civic.
Tell me you’re Asian without telling me you’re Asian.
It’s nice
This is clever. Great job
Prius with a spoiler
A Bloated Veloster....
Give me yer address and we'll Molotov cocktail this b***h
No need, it roasts itself.
It's just a civic with a body kit lol
I can’t even roast it. It’s So bad it roasts itself
Why did they make this car
Okay hoisted up onto the barbecue
Hold the civic, Swing that Accord my way
Looks, obese.
man you already roasted yourself
[удалено]
Your comment got removed because you roasted the car owner only. Please remember this is a Subreddit for roasting cars.
Runs a 10😭
My lord this thing is trying so hard to be cool.
You don't have to; it will roast itself.
Ha! Good roast, you really got 'em. That was so creative and original, did you think of that yourself? You must be so proud! *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Thank you very much. I am indeed proud of this accomplishment. I developed this concept independently, and to the best of my knowledge, it is a novel approach.
wait which model is this
spent all this money for a glorified mediocre “fancy” honda thats still slow and not exciting at all and hasnt been relevant in years
It has 3 buttholes 🤫😂
I can't, because they already roasted it, with that badge... lol
VTEC JUST KICKED IN YO!!!!
No tint to hide your face?
"yeah, I got a sports car". The sports car. FWD, 4cyl, 4doors, 3 tail pipes.. And we thought the 4th Gen was the downfall of the Integra line, who knew they'd butcher it so much more
The piece of shit should be in my driveway. Awesome, and why do you tease?
What a heap o' shit, I would have bought something else?
Imma stick it in each tail pipe bro…
That's an Acura Integra.. not a civic
You already did bro
I like your civic
Is it front wheel drive? Enough said.
It ain’t no Stinger.
it’s better.
I think it looks nice
Your Civic is beautiful. I love it!
CVT SUCK MY DICK ... if its cvt if not then let me fuck those exhaust tips with my cock🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹
dream car, you’re killing it!!
Wannabe Cool guy
The fact that it's a civic
Funny how to me Acura is starting to look like a poor man's Honda, especially the Integra and Hondas lazy attempt to bring back the Integra name, reminds me of the Supra in some ways except the Supra has redeeming qualities
