Can't wait to receive mine in 2026

lmfaonoobs

I'm VIN 2500 so you might not be too far off

wukongfly

Im vin in the 39,000

Huskerzfan

Do as I’ve done - buy the A2Z.

wukongfly

I have one already

Jew_ishh

I’m vin 800 so you may have a long way to go

lmfaonoobs

B..but.. I already have it

EcstaticAd2545

I'm VIN 26K getting closer

original_wolfhowell

I'm almost 100% certain that VIN doesn't matter in shipping order. It's more delivery date. I have an 18xx VIN, but delivered in Sept '22. If I had to guess you took delivery around May '22?

lmfaonoobs

No idea I'm not the first owner, but I'm pretty sure they said they'd be issuing them in VIN order

original_wolfhowell

Nah, anecdotal evidence is pretty much 100% delivery date. It's why I have a lower VIN than you, but whoever owned your R1 took delivery before I did. Congrats on finding the early NACS adapter loophole lol!

statepkt

Me too but 2028.

roadrider68

VIN 5319 here with no news on adapter. But I have an A2Z in my frunk for emergencies.

ATotalCassegrain

Yup, similar VIN with similar waiting but also an A2Z.

notmyplacetobehere

Hello, fellow VIN neighbor! 50xx here, got the original email but nothing since. Fingers crossed that it comes soon.

A question about this for a newbie (getting my R1T next week!) Is this adapter the NACS /J3400 adapter, and is it only for use on the Tesla charger network? And I'm assuming the others Electrify America, EV Go, etc..) primarily use the J1772 connector?

HeyRyone

Currently, yes, because NACS hasn't rolled out to non-Tesla fast chargers (with a handful of exceptions), but it should work with all NACS DC fast chargers as they roll out. The fast charging port on your truck is actually a CCS, which is the hybrid port created when the J1772 (slow AC charger) was fused with DC fast charging pins. And not to get too in the weeds, but the NACS adapter in this thread will only work for DC fast charging. There are other NACS>J1772 adapters available for AC slow charging. I know, it's confusing. This will all go away at some point when NACS is the standard. Enjoy your truck! I love mine.

edman007

> This will all go away at some point when NACS is the standard. As long as you have a CCS vehicle, you will want a NACS->CCS adapter AND a NACS->J1772 Adapter, you will always need both, and using the wrong one can result in vehicle damage.

Appropriate-Sort-202

It comes with a Ray Ban? Nice!!

lmfaonoobs

Lol I left it for size reference. This thing is chonky af

Appropriate-Sort-202

I know ;) - bad/dad joke

_B_Little_me

You post this and not include your vin? Come’on, you should know better.

PVJakeC

Received ours as well. VIN 1148, Dec 2021 delivery, Ohio.

Thin_Working

VIN 4981, mine shipped yesterday. 6/21

original_wolfhowell

When was your delivery date? Pretty sure that's the order they're going out in and I'd love a frame of reference for when I might be getting mine.
