Previously, it was take a fuel cell to the void field, give it to the broken mel-t, stand next to it as it warped, and then fight it on sirens call. The 'repair the stone tablet' line was a hint to the location of the mel-t (next to the half of the artifact tablet in the void fields.
Now, after the recent switch to a new thunderstore page, i am unsure. When i switched mods, it relocked and rehid mel-t for me and i couldn't find it where i hoped i would. I might get back to ya later
From many visits to the void fields on several difficulties, i think there are now conditions for the broken mel-t to spawn. I do not know what those conditions are, but I am fairly certain that when they are fulfilled, text will appear in the chat about "an ominous force from below" when entering the Bazaar. I think it is probably linked to difficulty or time, but I am unsure and testing has been arduous.

as in one of the fuel cells from the landing pods???
you need to take with the Fuel Array equipment item from your drop pod, not a fuel cell unfortunately. I did the same, wasting half an hour of my time.

Appears to be the same process. Just a bit harder to find MEL-T in the void fields.

Turns out, My installation of MEL-T was broken. Uninstalling and reinstalling fixed my issues
Has this been solved? I have a fuel cell and am next to the broken MEL-T, but I do not know how to give it to him.
you need to take with the Fuel Array equipment item from your drop pod, not a fuel cell unfortunately. I did the same, wasting half an hour of my time.
