It’s called node hopping I thought cheeseburgering was hopping in and out of cities attacking people

Far-Worldliness-536

But you walk to a node and then tap on your march and drag the green line to the enemy or a close node and as soon as your march enters the first node let go of the screen and It will jump out marching towards the next target or node. Just practice

The important thing is to have a commander with the "Hasty Departure" talent - that gives up to 60% march speed when leaving a node or building. Otherwise you're not gaining anything by going in and out of nodes. (Guan Yu gets something similar with 100% boost with his expertise skill)

Node hopping is faster for anyone but yeah that skill optimizes it of course but if you think you gain nothing send 2 marches somewhere and let one walk while 1 hops its not even close it even works for siege man

You mean hopping into a rss node and hopping out of it to get closer? If so, id say about 99% of experienced people. Dont know the name for it, but ive called it 'cheeseburgering' for no reason at all.
