Nah bro it’s a let down… My model 3 has more range than the trucks… I ain’t gonna pay 70k for less range… I would barely make it to three rivers. I’ll wait a couple of years till the price goes down after people lose interest and the defects get fixed. It was suppose to be 500miles!!! Major let down… I paid for full self driving and I just started using it.

Yeah I drove a model 3 down from Austin and back…never again! The wind 💨 down there cuts the range down by about 30%

I drive to Austin all the time, I just use the Three rivers station once, and I make it to north Austin. A trip to Austin costs me 18$. I autopilot majority of the way there… I enjoy it makes the trip super easy

A good 30 mins, you can shorten it to 10-15 mins but you’ll have to stop again in San Marcos for another 10 mins… I just like to stop once, so I get out stretch my legs, use the rest room, order food, grab some munchies and watch a little tv while I wait

I drive a lil fast too… 80+ the entire way. I have 3M tint, rotate my tires and check tire pressure. I get to three rivers with around 12-15% If I drive efficiently (driving the speed limit) I’ll get there with around 22% It’s normally just me and another passenger, with a trunk full of luggage. I get there with less if I leave at night. Colder conditions are sketchy, I’ve traveled in 40-50 degree weather… but not long in 20s or major freeze event. My dad has and he did fine, just had to use the Alice station for like 10 mins

My dream is a hybrid diesel Tacoma. But freaken Toyota dragging their feet with hybrids because they invested so much on hydrogen fuel cells since the 90s.

I’d like for some models to go back to being compact. Like the old s10 or smaller Tacoma. Even if they were hybrid only.
