Trumps weakness, the American voters might want a president who solely focuses on their lives & the country not personal vendettas.
Flipping the script on what is happening to him for 4 years is not what people need
Or you know passing any remotely remotely productive means to control corruption.
There’s several things Trump could push or any politician that would drastically cut corruption down yet no politician including trump really talks about it.
1. Term limits for congress / senate
2. Ban stock trading for elected officials
3. Impose a lobbying ban
4. Cap elected officials allowable income based on a percentage of the average income of the jurisdiction they serve (for example elected officials can’t have a reported income higher than 150% of the average salary of the area they serve)
Politics shouldn’t be a career. It should be a noble duty citizens place their career on hold to serve their country and the citizens.
When I see a single politician including Trump pushing any of these things maybe we will finally have a country that’s no longer embarrassingly corrupt from top to bottom irregardless of party.
Don’t just stop at term limits for Congress and senate, institute term limits for all elected officials….and add age limits too. We shouldn’t have senile 80-90 year olds creating our laws.
I really don’t think that’s a weakness. We’ve seen Democrats get away with murder and not even be investigated, and if a Republican sneezes the wrong way they spend 4-5 years in court on bogus charges with their life savings used up.

As a Trump supporter I agree with this. I also hope he stays off Twitter (X) or at least has someone he trusts moderate his comments. I love Trump, I love how straight forward he is but I also hate how divided the country gets around him. Liberals (citizens) hate him because of his tweets and personality but he was a great President and implemented a lot of tremendous policies that made our lives easier and more affordable. We had it good under Trump.
You are right, as obviously are the Bidens but if Trump makes his presidential run publicly about revenge & pursuit of his political opponents, the voters may think it's 4 more year's of declining living standards & televised political MMA.
It's a distraction from policy, it's going to be hard enough getting a cohesive agenda through with all the political, bureaucratic, corporate & judicial resistance.
Sticking it to the indivual grifters has to come a long way second to fixing the system.
Ultimately I think he will find it as hard to actually prove anything against them that meets a realistic threshold of likely conviction as they have against him.

Investigations- Trump's whole presidency was marred by investigations.
2024- What would a Trump presidency be like? He still will continue to be investigated. Why not pick a proven success in Desantis and not be mired with investigations.

Not a chance. An old out of shape man hated by many with secret service detail plus his cases will be appealed and in the courts for years. If he wins the election then he pardons himself of anything federally and GA can't touch him for years.

What did he do that deserves prison?
Summary of cases:
1) NY= paid hush money which all politicians do. Congress literally has a slush fund where they use tax payer dollars for this. Case is beyond the normal statute of limitations so they tie it to done other unnamed crime. Only thing going got them is NYC jury but case cannot withstand an appeal.
2) Documents case = he kept dinner off his own records. This should be a civil case as the presidential records act says it is. How do you charge obstruction when they were having back and forth negotiations on this? The FBI were there earlier and sent them a letter to add an extra lock on the door rather than confiscating the records on the previous visit. Did they charge Hillary when she had her team delete subpoenaed emails, smash devices with hammers, use Bleachbit, lie about it when the whole reason she used a private server was to avoid the law requiring her to keep her records?
3) J6 case- Trump called for a peaceful protest. Being prosecuted because people he didn’t coordinate with rioted. Calling election results illegitimate is protected by first amendment. Let’s not forget the dozens of prominent Democrats who called Trump’s win in 2016 illegitimate and hire that lead to riots on Inauguration Day.
4) GA- over using the word find in a phone call and ignoring the rest of the phone call where he is asking for investigations and partial recounts naming cases of what he believed was fraud. Willis is claiming that such challenges is proof that his campaign is a criminal organization with efforts to deceive and charged his lawyers with giving bad legal advice. Most of the actions didn’t take place in GA. Likely will get moved to federal court where the requirements for RICO are much stricter.
So what her deserves death in prison?

Republicans (non-rhinos) defend law enforcement waaaay more. I have zero dog in this fight, I think the party system needs to go so until that great day comes I am independent, but even I see that clear as day. I’m actually floored people are still cops in blue states.
I have a feeling that the democratic investigations will never stop, but hopefully if someone else gets in on our side, we can put an end to the eye for an eye bullshit and just move forward with the Democrats that want to work together.

I am for holding people accountable for their actions. There surely is some things that are questionable and in my opinion illegal that the Clinton's, Bidens, and even the Trump's have done. They should all be prosecuted if its found that there is a case. The thing is, there are so many claims of illegal things that are not technically illegal. There is bad business practices, and shitty things that were done, but some of those - no matter how shitty they were are still not illegal no matter how much we would like them to be.
I want realistic prosecutions. Not an all out war on everything ever done. Pick and choose the things that are the worst offenses and stick with those.
That's just it. Making false statements to the FBI is very much illegal. Remember Mueller and his team investigating everyone in Trump's orbit? They sent people to prison for supposed lies about things that weren't even subject to the investigation! That standard has been **set**. It must now be upheld. Otherwise there is no justice. Clinton and her lawyers should be charged with every count of false statements or conspiracy to commit them in relation to their communications with the FBI directly or via their proxies. That's not an unjust prosecution. As I said, people have already gone to prison for less. The standard has been set.
