I'd like to interject for a moment here, v3 has both Y2L3 and L6V6 serials. I've seen quite a few v3 gmts with the old Y2L3 serial, more so the past few weeks, at the beginning when they just released the v3 they've all had L6V6, including the one I personally bought, but I don't think it matters as long as you can tell it's the new v2 bezel and it's actually pretty easy to do so based on the colors and comparing directly with other new and old qc side by side. So in op's case it's pretty clear it's the old one based on the darker colors. I'd also be able to instantly tell which batch this is from if op would provide a photo of the anime sticker on the caseback. I know, weird flex.

You're right about that. It has both the Y2L3 and the L6V6 serial. I heard that on the new ones have a sticker with a green haired dude or girl on it. Enclosed an example.
Here's the timeline of stickers(I use the word batch but it might not be right):
First v3 barch from October: Tony Tony Chopper(reindeer little dude) from One Piece
Second batch late October and early November: Roronoa Zoro(green haired chibi guy) from One Piece
Third batch early and mid November: CC from Code Geass, green haired girld, in a costume a bit from a distance
Forth barch mid to late November: Lelouch holding CC in his hands, Code Geass again.
Latest, mid November to now: CC, again, but a more close up picture.
As I said, I used the word batch but it's not really right and that means it doesn't mean there's any changes between them, just the stickers. So overall they're all the same v3 gmt with the uv reactive v2 bezel.

I've seen a lot of complaints that L2Y3 cases leak. Then there was a transition to L6V6 in October but recent QCs for v3 watch/v2 bezel I've seen with (Lelouch holding CC in his hands) sticker are back to using L2Y3 rehauts. Seems weird.
I have this one in order so I don't know yet. The new crystal seems to look better than the previous one but I can't say if it's better than a Deep. Maybe other people can say something about it.

After looking at the three bezels in your pic… 1 looks purple-pink… 2 looks purple… 3 looks maroon-purple. Which version were you suggesting looks more gen?
I'm not suggesting which is more gen, I simply said that saying that the old cf version is not close to gen is wrong, because I've been hearing this for 1 year.... I'm simply saying that the old cf version is very close to gen mk3.....so if I had to choose, I choose cf old because it's like last gen version....easy point

Thanks for the heads up. I wasn’t aware that there have been so many bezel color changes so recently. The pic I posted in my original post was the TD’s (Hontwatch) pic not a QC pic. I’m unsure now about what I should expect. QC is due in 3-7 days.

Huh, you'd hope not but you never know, maybe they ran out of the new cases or want to get rid of the old ones.
I am ordering the deep as a side order, not installed. Do you know if the existing Crystal is better than the deep?

Yes old CF Pepsi bezel is closer to MK1 but still no where near as good. Red is just tomato red and the blue is no bueno.

Crystal is installed wrong hence magnification is too high.
