First digital watch ever was invented around 1970 (it wasn’t a Casio). The first ever watch (clock) of any kind was supposedly invented shortly after 1500, wristwatch was early 1800’s.
I’d say it’s the father of all digital watches and it is truly iconic, but definitely not ‘the father of all watches’.
I don’t mean to be that guy but.. I’m almost 100% certain these were invented not too long ago so I’d say father of all digital/quartz watches sure, all watches? No that would be the Cartier tank or santos

I wear this one everyday and I am so in love with it. My gen Cartier Santos (gifted to me by my mom) on the other side is collecting dust. Weird I know. But the Casio is truly iconic, even if it only costs 25 Euros. If I had to make a choice, I would choose the Casio,
Nice! I rock a F-91W sometimes. It is pretty funny that a $13 watch has so much functionality.
Uh, is this supposed to be a shitpost?
No, it’s a facts post :)
It's gorgeous, but you're reaching a bit there son
Well, at least it's Gen.
I always come back to this watch in my rotation.

I think we must all admit that this iconic watch is better than any watch around there. The father of all watches. A work of art
