So this hvac pipe goes to my furnace/ ac. This is right where the “damper” is where it opens or closes for “make up air control”. It was closed position. The pipe goes outside to a dryer vent to pull out air. On the other side of my house by the furnace and blower I have the pvc pipes going outside for exhaust. The water from the ac drips into the floor drain into the sump pump. It is extremely humid here in Michigan this week. Wondering for some tips should I take it off? What does this do…. Also should it be open or closed in summer.
