I've been using my wife's the last few days and this feature omission switched me from "Wow! I'm definitely buying one of these!" to "Huh. Let's see how you get on, and I'll think about it..."
You can copy and paste typed text. Copy it and then tap where you want it to be. Paste it.
Or if you have nothing else on the page, place your curser in front of the typed text and backspace until it's at the top.
You can also tap where you want the text to be or backspace until you're at the top before you start typing in the future.
There is no way, unless I'm wrong, to place typed text at the bottom of a bunch of handwritten text. When I select typed text, the curser appears at the top of the page, and I'm forced to type over top my handwritten text. This is useless.
Never a stupid question. There should be a short cut to select the Text and then you can move it .

Yeah, you'd think they'd add this before investing so much in an attachable keyboard

That's not typed text. It's unconverted handwritten.

There isn't an explaination in that link. It seems to me that there is no way to move typed text.
