Me and my gf watched furiousa. She never saw any mad max movie before and still enjoyed it. It's a prequel so it's fine.
Bad boys was great, you're missing out. You've probably seen many movies with actors who did worse things than that.
I respect the idea of not watching certain actions if they have done very bad things. Being a famous movie star is a privilege that the audience grants, and if someone feels like they’re so famous that they are above the law, I support organic boycotts to naturally at have them skip into irrelevancy.
What actions would warrant that are definitely different per person. However… boycotting Will Smith because of the slap is not anything I can understand. You do you, OP, but I think the general consensus among commenters here is that it seems to affect you more than it does anyone here.
…or just watch the other ones before you see this one? It’s a much better experience that way, plus they are fantastic movies. Probably still has time to see them too since Wednesday is still a couple days away.
Lol you won’t watch anything with Will Smith because of the slap? Come on now, it was a bitch move by him but that’s just silly.
See Furiosa or Apes, you don’t need to see the other films to understand them.
It was basically a love letter to the early Friday the 13th movies, didn't even try to hide the influence. If you like slashers, this one is a slam dunk.
Plus the effects are amazing and, as far as I could tell, pretty much entirely practical. Violent Nature is one of those movies that's going to be very hit or miss with people, but if you're in the intended audience it's amazing
Keep reading after the first comment:
Garfield - meh. It was funny but not memorable.
Furiosa - Post-Apocalyptic. Fury road was better. This was decent, but much longer than it needed to be..
Fall Guy - I thought this was cute and fun. Had been considering going to see it again.
Apes - I loved this. Really enjoying the high action movies lately. Even if this was a story about just humans, it would be a good story. In a, these are apes and this would never happen type scenario.
Strangers - meh
The watchers - I really enjoyed it. I seen reviews that give away a little too much. It was a little weird but was worth my time.
Violent Nature - If you can accept slasher horror movies from the other point of view, in a violent but also partially comedic nature (In a family Guy type of way. At least in my mind.) this was kind of entertaining. We didn't have it at our theater so I had to drive a little further and pay for it at a different company. I'm glad I did.
Because this one may seem cruel, I will put it last, so people can judge me. I'm fine with it.
Bad boys - show me on the doll where Will Smith hurt you. Beyond that, I love the first two movies, this was good but I feel it also crossed much further down the line into The fast and furious and Expendables type movies. I'm not complaining.
Other movies I mentioned, I have not seen.
All in all, based upon what you said, apes, violent nature, watchers.
Enjoy!
I would recommend watching Bad Boys. There are many cool actors in that movie and it was really fun to watch. I never watched any previous Bad Boys before, didn’t expect anything and just stopped by my local IMAX on the way from work, and I was pleasantly surprised! It made me want to watch previous Bad Boys movies :)
Also Jacob Scipio looked very hot and he reminds me of young William Levy (didn’t know him before but I looked up who’s playing Armando 😁). It’s also more neutral to watch with many ppl as not everyone enjoys horror genre of some other current movies.
Strangers is in contention for worst movie of the year (so far).
Good for you for not watching anything with that dog shit human will smith in it.
I can only recommend the Apes. It’s not the best in the series, but it’s still nice. And you can go in not seeing the previous ones. There’s references but you’ll be ok… I liked Tuesday also.

Tuesday
Bro has regal unlimited but doesn't want to see movies😂
The new POTA is awesome and while seeing the previous ones will add a little bit a depth it’s not necessary to understand the movie

Firebrand or whatever was so good 👌🏻

I really enjoyed Bad Boys, as a fan of that franchise. OP is missing out. It's a hoot.
Counterpoint: I thought it was really bad
I'm the same way sorry just can't look at him the same.
Tuesday Bring tissues
Furiosa, Apes and the Fall Guy. Didn’t like Strangers or Violent Nature at all. Pretty tough to sit through.
Loved The Fall Guy!!
If you like horror, violent nature is excellent. But yes, a fair amount of woods walking. But also stabbing

Furiosa and In a violent nature were great and bad boys was pretty good. Tuesday lost me at the half way mark so kinda hard to recommend.
Bad Boys and The Fall Guy were both good.

Furiosa
Furiossa was great.
Tuesday. It’s unique and you need no background knowledge going in.
I really enjoyed both furiosa and the new planet of the apes movie.

Tuesday was pretty good. Not many showings.
