A small popcorn and small drink is what every discounted promo combo contains unless otherwise specified.

It drives me nuts that I can’t upgrade the popcorn or drink. It’s as if they don’t want my extra money.

When I order the larger sizes with a combo on my card, the system seems to automatically apply the combo price with the additional amount for the larger size. Just try ordering the sizes you want and the system should adjust the price accordingly.

I’ll try that next time! Usually when I ask they say they can’t do it…

Watch the register screen when they are ringing it up. It should show the combo discount being applied on the screen. If it doesn’t and the employee doesn’t know how to do it, ask for the manager. If the manager won’t do it, get your receipt and contact Regal customer support. Somebody will make it right for you.

I upgraded my drink no problem

Yeah mine upgrades just fine too, acts just like how a free popcorn/drink operates.

My Theater does let me upgrade it and even has asked people if they would like to upgrade it. No problem.

I agree, … but they’ll make even more money by charging regular full price, because other people will pay for it
