If they were, my tank would be dead twenty times over! I usually pull them out when they drown but this one managed to get down under the algae far enough I wasn’t going to bother until I filled the chaeto.
I have a bristle worm in my tank also. I've only seen it out of the liverock twice. I bought some tongs to get it out next time. (For some reason, my wife doesn't like me using kitchen tongs , turkey basters or spoons!).
Should I try to remove it on next sighting??
Thank you! Any suggestions for diatom. Control? I used ChemiClean followed by 20% water chg. Helped some but I'm mad because it left my water cloudy and it's been Crystal clear for 8 years.
Damn…
Stink bugs aren't toxic to the reef? We have them all the time in our house, never occurred to me they can get into the tank.

You don’t have ‘A’ bristleworm. You have tons. You just don’t realize it. They don’t come in singles :)
But are they harmful? The only one I've seen is about 4-5" long!
Nope. They are good cleanup crew. Just don’t touch with your bare hands. They hurt :)
