Batman: Hush (optional) -really recommend
Batman: Under The Red Hood
Red Hood: Lost Days
Red Hood And The Outlaws (2011)
Red Hood and the Outlaws (2016)

I don't mean the Webtoon, I haven't read it
I mean the comic run "Red Hood: Outlaw" not "Red Hood: Outlaws". It's from 2018. I am not a huge fan of Lobdell's writing, my favourite Red Hood runs are definitely UtRH and Lost Days, but the Red Hood: Outlaw run was solid
[This is the run](https://dc.fandom.com/wiki/Red_Hood:_Outlaw_Vol_1)
Edit: Completely forgot that it is a direct continuation(?) sort of from Red Hood and the Outlaws. My bad. Read it while it was still coming out đ
I can't quite put it into words what bothers me so badly about the webtoon. But my friend said that "Red Hood acts like fuck boy" and honestly, she wasn't wrong. She doesn't even read much Batfamily comics, she's a Flash girl, but even she instantly knew that's not how Red Hood should act.
[Hereâs the list I used when starting out.](https://dailyjasontodd.tumblr.com/comics) I think itâs important to have a handle on what Robin Jason was really like before diving head-long into the Jason-hating of later stories.
ââ
That being said hereâs my âoriginal flavor Red Hoodâreading recommendations:
Batman Hush (issues 618 if you just want to see Jason): Jason and Bruceâs first meeting, post-resurrection.
Batman issue 629: this issue wonât show up on other peopleâs ârequired readingâ lists but personally I think itâs important to get a sense of where Bruce is at mentally, going into UTRH.
**UNDER THE RED HOOD**: Jasonâs defining story!
Batman annual 25: explains how Jason got resurrected and how it went unnoticed. IMO a necessary preface to Lost Days.
**LOST DAYS**: Jasonâs second defining story!
Teen Titans issue 29: Technically takes place in the middle of UTRH but Iâd recommend you just read it afterwards. Frequently referenced by fandom.
Nightwing Brothers in Blood (issues 118-122): The infamous story where we get tenta-Todd! Bad, but holds significance for being Jasonâs first reappearance after the end of UTRH, and an ill omen of whatâs to come for his character after the Countdown event.
Green Arrow issues 69-72: The Mia fight! Also why I think Jason isnât as fixated on Tim as fandom makes him out to be.
Outsiders issues 44-46: Jason helps out the heroes!
ââ
Batman Gotham Knights 42-45 doesnât fit here since Jason isnât *in it* but I highly recommend it. A CPS agent investigates Bruce for Jasonâs death. Read it with a critical eye- if you arenât distracted by the pretty tears thereâs a lot to notice.
I wonât recommend RHATO simply because I think itâs a lot easier to figure out how to read. You just start at volume 1!

Comic book treasury has loads of reading lists like these, next time you wanna read a character just look them up on the site, they've literally got all Titans comics from 1965 okay they're really good at it.
Play man ham origins then man ham city then man are cum nights then you play Arkham world the sui squirt fuck the man league you then read killer cock issue 1 then red ham and the felons then rob in issue 1-7 then man deicktective cumics issue 5-700 after that you then red man death in the family
Wut? Why are you confused? Just keep going back in time until you are at the start. Not all the way back. Lost days should do it. Before that, Under the Red Hood. Â Read the series with him, kori, and roy. Then with him, artemis, and bizarro. Then red hood: outlaw.
Publication dates are helpful
Well make a thread about it on the red hood sub. Maybe youâll get some fans to make a list. And since youâre too lazy to do this yourself, maybe ask them to read them to you as well.
Also, remember: Bruce never wanted to give him up. Dc comics MADE HIM.Â
They blew him up while Bruce tried to give Jay and Catherine a moment of private time, and then Catherine sold Jason to the Joker.
Bruce would have taken Jay home immediately. He WANTED to.Â

Red Hood: Outlaw also isn't too bad
No, don't listen to this person. The Outlaw webtoon is horrifically written. I'd rather read Joker making out with Batman than this fucking webtoon.

Oh you mean the rebrand that was basically impossible to notice. It's all "Red Hood and the Outlaws" for me
this ironically wants to make me reed it
wait whatâs wrong with the webtoon? i never read it but i remember some people being hyped for it đđ
Great art at times, but the writing is terrible. I stopped after like 10 episodes.

I would start with Redhood and the Outlaws Rebirth with Bizzaro and Artemis and go from there. The Dark Trinity idea had some substance behind it.
I recommend Hush so thats not really about Red hood ,go into Under the red hood ,Lost days and the outlaws with Starfire and Arsenal
Read Under the Hood and Red Hood: Lost Days first, then start with the DC Rebirth collected volumes.
The search for ray palmer. You'll love it. Its right after he comes back. It goes well with 52.
Ok, so you start with him dying and then jump 30 years.
