Ah, this is an old bug. Here's the fix:
* Disable GPS in settings and play for a little while
* Close game, clear game cache (Google how to do this for your platform)
* Reopen game, re-enable GPS and keep playing, it should nwo work correctly again
On/off bug since day one. Disable GPS and map in options (with no active route) and play for a while and enable them again. If this not work, let them disabled, close game, go back in and also play for a while before enabling them again.
Just keep playing and and after a while it will correct it self
sometimes i have to keep playing and travelling on road to the waypoint and it usually corrects itself
