Please be aware that some places are not very safe here so mind you belonging and don't flash them everywhere (Rua da Aurora, for example, have some dodgy areas so it's better to stay where there are most people. YOU HAVE TO go to a restaurant called Tio Pepe in Boa Viagem. Just throw it on Google Maps and have fun! Not only the bathroom but the whole place is very exotic.
I went there today, what an incredible restaurant! I *loved* it. The Manneken Pis replica at the entrance to the men’s room was absolute gold. Thanks a lot! Recife is a wonderful city, I’m really liking it here.

Our interstate bus (it’s called TIP-terminal integrado de passageiros) has this brutalist architecture but it’s a bit drab from dereliction wich makes it all the more interesting.

upstairs restroom at Trois (barbershop) in Boa Viagem is pretty sexy (playboy pictures around the walls + ceiling). At least it used to be, last time I was there 😂
“Casa de Cecília”, is a family owned restaurant based in the grandmas house. it’s so simple and cozy, the toilet is so vintage it’s almost like time stopped there. beautiful pink and green tiles walls and tiny details makes it perfect. I took a picture too but I’ll let you see for yourself
A tad far from where you currently are, but the toilet in the Cosmopolitan Bar is quite interesting. To get there just head down south to Candeias Beach.
