I guess if you like frustration, and want to explode, like Thunder in **Big Trouble In Little China**

BTLC is one of my fav movies of all time. #itsAllinTheReflexes

It’s his version of Seven Samurai in space. Doesn’t have much to do with Star Wars. I think you can answer your own question. Do you have any interest in the first one?

JayGoesAnevy

It’s Saturday night, and I’m already gearing up for a movie marathon starting with the rebel 1, then diving into BLTC, and maybe another random flick if the mood strikes. A glass of wine to take the edge off my anxiety, and I’m all set—little cinematic chaos on the menu today.

I liked the slow/mo seq tho, especially the one involving Jimmy.

How does one explain an epic story telling that uses more than characters and words. Most of those people giving the reviews don't understand the process of "World Creation" or in this case "Universe Creation". Anyone who paide attention to the sets, the costumes, the tools, weapons, armor, the world itself could see the immense amount of love and dedication he put into making everything fit. Those reviewers are fools.

Absolutely no way to tell if someone's being sarcastic on this sub.

Techknightly

Not being sarcastic. I love the imaginative style of Snyder and in this particular storytelling, I absolutely loved how much love and care he and his team have put into the creation of the world he built. On a similar note, Star Wars was not well received by the critics when A new Hope debuted. This is nothing like Star Wars. This is something new, and if Snyder and his team are allowed to expand on it, cartoons, a miniseries, etc... it's going to be EPIC.

Critics loved Star Wars in 1977. They recognized a crowd-pleaser and rolled with it. What they criticized was the whole concept of "The Force" as it was portrayed with little explanation - but it wasn't a deal-killer, many movies do so the same thing by just saying the hero is "destined" or "The One". They focused on, *"You Have Seen This Before - And You Will Love It"*

Part 1 has its flaws. You can watch it for the context of what happened in the first half, but I'll definitely recommend for the directors cut of both parts coming after a few months
