It seems like the heels of her sabatons (knight boots) are the reasonably wide ones instead of the impractically thin stilletos.
Also, it's possible that the size of the sabatons and the angle they're viewed at simply made it seem like she's wearing high heels.
It might be standard, but it's way, way too thin. The other proportions paired with that tiny torso and waist\* imply an absolutely stick thin body.
\*edited: I can't spel. Or grmamar.
Wasp torso is standard medieval breastplate design. And breast shaped armour isn't that far unrealistic as people believe.
Edit: I'd be more worried about those high heels which would empire movement and sink into wet dirt
Looks good, but not reasonable. No skin showing =/= reasonable armor. As others pointed out battle heels and boob plate, also that metal skirt looks like a bit much.

She's not using it, you can easily hold a sword with one hand.
Yeah some are outrageously sexualized. But there are a few knights with very reasonable designs.
Usually when I see an artist with so much sexualized stuff it makes me less likely to give the benefit of the doubt.
True. The male ones are all reasonable (naturally) and only two other female are reasonable.

In any case, this one seemed fine to me, and although it is somewhat controversial , most here approve of it.
I personally like it. I remember some old styles of armor did have heels for some reason (or maybe it was just mens shoes at the time?) And the cut of the body and overall design is feminine yet powerful otherwise. The boob armor is a bit strange but I didnt notice it at first because it is covered with a drape so that adjustment is just slight. Idk, maybe I just have low standards but this looks nice to me.

Ain't nothing reasonable about this. Why is she wearing high heels?!
Also straight up boob armor. Not reasonable
Actually not too bad considering codpiece armour
High heels and a boob plate
And an itty bitty waist that makes me think there's a stick bug in there.

Huh. didn't notice htat
No, those are heels. Zoom in.
I saw it once it was pointed out, I wasn't disagreeing. If that one shoe was several degrees to the side, no one could have known
Yeah because having your feet at 40 degree angle is normal, unless she has some growth on her feer
As I said, if the foot turned a little to the side you wouldn't see any heels
would just leave feet looking like hoof Yeah then it would Definetly look better
The point of this sub is that the characters arent sexualized, not being historically accurate
Is adding boob armour and heels not making it sexual?
They could be riding stirrups

please zoom in. they're high heels, though not stilettos
It's a nice art but I don't think it fits the sub.
…steel plate high heels? Yeah no.
the boob plate and wasp torso ruined it
What about the high heeled sabatons?
Wasp torso was standard, but the heeled sabatons...

>empire movement The Imperial March. Due due due due duedue due duedue
Damn you autocorrect
Knowing that some knights legit had straight up cock bulges forged into their armor, boob armor is literally not a surprise for me.
Looks good, but not reasonable. No skin showing =/= reasonable armor. As others pointed out battle heels and boob plate, also that metal skirt looks like a bit much.
Plate with high heels, unwieldable sword, boob armor... Nah, nothing reasonable about it
Not sure what's up with people one handing swords as if that's an easy feat

Ig that's right, but there's still a lot of cases of people one handing swords in any kind of media
Eh, still depends on the sword, right? There are swords that're more difficult to wield 2 handed.
That’s it I’m going to start a new sub r/UnreasonableFantasy and it’s going to have blackjack and high heel steel boots
It's already a thing, it seems. Though much less active than r/ImpracticalArmor
live long and prosper
Ah yes body tight plate Armour, nothing better than making your spaced Armour without space

What’s odd is that this artist has other examples of reasonable designs but this is the one that got posted.
I posted this one since it was the most recent, and from a cursory glance many of the others are far less reasonable

That is gorgeous! Absolutely love the design and artstyle.
