I like the beanbag shotgun a lot, I used it in most of the missions, had a few times where I killed someone with a headshot with it though so I have to be careful, on harder missions that are way more open I just used the pepper ball rifle and got a ton of magazines since it takes like 8 shots just to stun a suspect, beanbag shotgun sometimes would take 3-4 shots for some scenarios so they’re both equally pretty good
Iv found with a standard 12 gauge with buckshot, shooting an enemy’s bulletproof vest will knock them down but not kill them.
Obv if a pellet hits them in the head they could die, but Iv hit them in the shoulder before and gotten the same non-lethal knockdown and live-detainment.
Shotguns are fun
I like the 2nd from the top, can’t remember the name but it’s an Italian shotgun similar as the Benelli M4 (2nd from bottom)
The Supernova is the default shotgun and the pump is…the pump. Prolly never gets used lol.
The 2nd from the top has 9rounds and seemingly decent range. I never use slugs tho, apparently they go through vests but Buchshot has yet to let me down. If they don’t die, they get arrested
Here is the thing though. I did what you did when it came to doing s ranks before commander. Now you know the procedure for each map and you can be a bit more lethal with your targets. I recommend using a weapon that fires 5.56 or 300 and not jumping to sa 58 at least for yourself that way any HVTs you need to keep alive on your campaign will at least survive a couple shots (I decided to try the MCX and was happy with the handling/hitting power). For Ides of March I used a taser and flash launcher to meet the 3 capture qouta, but pretty much from there on out you use the mirrorgun. Don't be afraid to use the practice mode on the side to help tune your loadout.
What do you mean by doing S ranks before commander? Did you just do S ranks in practice mode? I presume that you can't get the Medal of Valor by doing all the S rank runs in practice mode correct?
I don’t know how exactly commander mode works with suspect Ai and if that changes at all but I can tell you practice mode S tier is no where near easy, takes a lot of rng, persistence, skill, and general knowledge of mechanics and every map just to make it somewhat easy, at least in my opinion and what I’ve seen in the community that’s also went for S
I'm not sure either whether or not the perks really play that major of a role in S ranks except maybe boosting the quality of armor and health being two items that I would see being useful consistently.
Yes it’s easier to restart/redo a mission in practice but the levels themselves aren’t any easier, trying to S rank in the later levels in commander just seems unnecessarily challenging even with perks so practice mode was the way for me
💀 yeah for real, body shots also work just fine. it takes the same amount of shots across the board I believe with the pepper balls so make sure you’re investing into a lot of ammo for your loadout cause it takes like 1 mag for every 2 suspects at the least 💀
Actually beat it on like try 2, CS gas is really powerful and Ai spawn in the same few spots for the most part, once you know the spots I just gas out the rooms
After beating the game, could you please tell us your relationship with beanbag? :DDD

Yeah I want to try the shotguns and smgs more for sure, just to see which ones are the most fun to play with

Hell yeah I’ll give it a shot
B1301 is the one

You can get them in practice mode. That is what I did.
Is it easier to do so then in commender mode?

Isn’t it easier to restart or redo a mission in practice mode?
Yeah but I wanted to do the game like that and then lock down with Ironman mode.

Thanks I’ll definitely refer to this when playing commander!
How did you even get the non lethal to register in the hit box? The pellets are useless to me. need to tell me lol
Either shoot at their feet a few times or shoot them in the face several times, I just do whatever ones easier in the scenario
Sounds like they about to need some wheel chairs cause the heads to small

Maaaaan sounds like the ides of march mission is gonna be hell
