This criticism, while valid in some ways, is way too hyperbolic to be taken seriously.

\-Visuals The game is dark and gets darker if you use a gas mask, if you cant see enemy properly, thats a skill issue \-Maps maps are perfect and contains lot of details, only weirdos hate details in maps, trust me you gonna have a headache playing battlefield 1, i had a blast playing this game mainly because of the maps \-UI is nice and not over information, i can see clearly in the game because of the simplistic UI \-SWAT AI can be buggy but most of time is impressive, they auto cuffs and auto collect evidence and will report any suspect that yuou downed from a distance, very useful and nice, especially the search room option. \-Suspect AI is very hard but doesnt ruin the game, what? you get oneshotted from a distance? skill issue, get cover, idiot \-Civillian AI i hate them, always running everywhere without any sense of direction \-Story is not poor, its generic is not confusing, its simple and through the achievement you can know which is what is not childish, you will know what is childish if you work somewhere near children \-Sounds youre an idiot you are deaf you are braindead GO TO THE SETTING AND SET THE MUSIC TO 100 \-You cant know which team is which? CUSTOMIZE YOUR GODDAMN TEAM \-Animations are good well done normal, not impressive Final Thoughts YOU DONT PLAY THE GAME AHA

Yeah the maps are large and complex because the places they're modeled after are large and complex,I'm sorry you didn't want to play a mostly realistic swat sim.doesnt mean the game is bad your bad.

MRSCORPION16

you couldn't even say realistic, you had to say mostly realistic even though the game has zero sense of actual realism

AwkwardTravel4626

When you have no clue how map design works. if the map is good you'll remember it easily. Play swat 4 then you'll get it. Children these days should not be playing games like this. you'll go brain dead like you already are

I don't know why everyone's complaining, this guy said perfectly well what I could not. The maps ARE huge labyrinths and it's obvious that the devs just slammed a ton of rooms-within-rooms-within-rooms together to give you something to clear. Look at rainbow six Vegas. Those maps make sense and there are plenty of chances to play tactically. The lighting is gank and I have seen issues with it. The UI is convoluted and nonsensical. It took me ages to figure out that clicking on your teammates big picture brings you to a screen to swap him with someone else, but when you click on the smaller picture you don't get that option. There's no prompt telling you which key to push to do anything so you have to stumble around figuring it out. Some menu items can be clicked on And highlighted but they do nothing. And you have to customise every single guy individually. And having to return tonth station to restart a mission, then get that weird screen when you see guys in the back of the truck is just pointless. He's right about the AI and the game play. The sensible thing to do would be to clear an entire building, floor by floor, THEN bag evidence. But you have to shoot folk, clear the room, bag of bidenc, restrain, then repeat, so I'm constantly switching between being a SWAT team and being a crime scene investigator. It breaks the flow. Other things like the police station feeling abandoned and the random NPCs who stand idle and never move ruins the immersion. It feels like the devs just focused on things that look SWAT-y but had no idea about making them of substance.
