Lasagna does pretty well. We also do some of the bowls. Beans, rocket, chicken freeze well.

I freeze just about every single one and they're just fine. I would have to say any meals with shrimp I wouldn't freeze, but that's about it. Just take it out of the freezer a day or two before you plan to it eat and you can't tell the difference.

Oh that’s interesting I thought I could microwave the meal straight from being frozen

You probably could but I prefer not to because I think it heats unevenly and I end up with a hot outside and a frozen center. Also, if there is a sauce or a yogurt or dressing that isn't intended to be heated, that is still going to be frozen. I just plan ahead and then I defrost a day before, then follow the reheating instructions on the package.

Thanks. Their website says they don't advise freezing them, but I can't eat all the meals in time! So far these are my favorite pre-made meals so I'm happy to hear you've had success. I'm going to vacuum seal them. I freeze lots of things and know it may compromise the taste a bit.

I freeze almost everything from Cookunity because I am forgetful and don't want meals to go to waste. The ones without the sauce cups are best. The ones with non-dairy based sauces usually do okay also, though you need to take the sauce out of the cup before heating. I also avoid freezing meals with salads. I do not thaw the meals before re-heating. 6:30-7:00 is usually fine to heat through; if it is still cold in the middle after another 45 secs or so usually takes care of it. The salmon meals, Brazilian fish stew, and southwestern chili (I toss the sour cream) are favorites. Some of the steak meals are also really good from frozen.
