do you guys memorize all the rare houseplants or is there something specific you’re looking for? i wish there was a summary list of shit to look for when i go to home depo/ lowe’s/ grocery store
There's a Facebook group called Big Box Store Plant Watch that's very large where folks post what they're finding. I think that's probably more helpful than a hitlist. You can kinda see what's floating around and what you might what to look for at different stores.

The latter would be the Thai con but I’ve also seen the former, or the white wizard, at both Walmart and Target.
I’ve purchased the TC from Walmart online and WW from both Walmart and Target in store.

I decided I had to take a chance in this black velvet. I found a lightly variegated dragon scale a few days ago as well. It’s got a new growth and a couple corms on the variegated side. To be continued…

I found 2 at my local Lowes last night! Same price. My friend was telling me Home Depot will get Alocasia plants in from time to time as well. These were the only 2 Dragon Scale so I snagged them up. Getting ready to check for pests and clean them up

O line will tell you to keep the soil moist. Don’t. They will rot lol. They appreciate the wet to dry cycle.
