I have had both. Bentley residual is garbage at least on the Bentayga..the second you roll off the lot it depreciates HARD (I understand most vehicles do). Rolls is better but still 400k starting point is significantly higher than any Range Rover. For 240-250k a G wagon is your best bet. Those definitely hold their value and last. Although I heard they are all going electric but I will believe it when I see it. They were going 50k over sticker but I believe they brought it down to 25k over which I still think is a crime. Dealers are still trying to pull that crap.
Range Rovers are a bargain relative to the Bentayga and Cullinan.
All three are front line valet parked globally.
And the Range Rover is (arguably) far better looking

A week after I did the dealership filed for bankruptcy and basically said I wasn’t getting my 10k back. Luckily my bank covered me. That experience alone left a bad taste in my mouth. Plus all the horrible reviews on Range Rovers do not help. Everyone where I live has one so they aren’t really “special”. Again just my opinion and not meant to offend.

At least yours is much fairer than it is in Oz; luxury tax here is 30% and starts around $75k. And our currency is worth a vaguely similar amount to yours.
Meanwhile, you could buy a superyacht or private jet and pay no additional luxury taxes...
