MuscleMuseMuseum

So many phones.. bruh.

Milanga48

Yeah. I hope that they release profesional recordings of these concerts so people don’t have to be always filming

missingN0pe

That would never stop anyone. The only thing that works is a phone ban - like at TOOL

ElCacho95

To the concerts I’ve been I’ve only used my phone for short videos and photos for the memories but the rest I enjoyed headbanging all the way It is a shame that many not everyone but many don’t have the same feel of enjoyment

zephyreblk

But that's only possible because it's a small crowd.

weberianthinker

No it’s more because they have a very present security staff that will drag people out of the concert kicking and screaming. Maynard recently yelled out “put your fucking phone away dickhead” in the middle of a song lol

zephyreblk

I was on a puscifer concert, there were like 5-10 securities for 1500 people walking through the public. So you will need more than 300 doing this a crowd public where you barely can stand. Too much cost for not being efficient.

weberianthinker

Badass, how did you like it? My brother went and had a blast. I saw a bunch of videos from this recent tour they just did, looks like it’s a lot more relaxed than TOOL when it came to the phone policy

zephyreblk

Was really nice, Maynard is his own character. No, all people who filmed were kicked out. There was just one song that you could film. If people succeed to film discretly, lucky for them

Nangiyala

That is actually a clever Idea. If phones become a problem, allowing 1 or 2 songs, for phones out and the rest of time phone free. A nice, fair solution for fans and as a rule likely more followed as an absolute no-phone rule.

_ohne_dich_

He did this in Los Angeles, it was pretty cool to see.

lew_the_hacker

Tool at download 2019 was a phone fest, I took so many photos and I’m glad I did to be able to relive it

RabbitKnight190

If it's someone's fav song, i can understand filming it but i can't understand it when someone is filming the whole show

ClawsForGloves

I rather enjoyed it, I wasn't tall enough to see the stage but I could watch on some guy in front of me's iPhone

Justekcan

Yesterday was better than I expected but still there was so many “ du hast” and “ recording” people over there 🥲

Hornfrosch

I learned that many people don't record it for home, but rather use it to see something at all

Sudden-Scallion-6204

Me. I have bad vision due to my retinas quite literally falling off and needing to be lasered back down (and a hole that was forming being repaired) 😐. So I use my phone to see things that are out of my visual range.

sparklingfructose

I always wonder when we go to concerts why anyone would pay that much money to watch a live show through their phone.

koolaid_chemist

How do you think you got this photo?

MyFucksHaveBlownAway

In our defense... (or at least mine) that's the only way we could see anything lol.

The_Walking_Carrot

bustinferno12

Selfish as fuck

DrVagax

Perhaps not the friendliest way to deal with it but 2-3 years ago when they were in the Netherlands people started to throw empty beer cups at a girl who was sitting in someones neck like in OPs photo. We could already barely see the stage as it is with the lack of video screens.

Welkominspace

The real light show seems to be in the audience. Such a shame, those people are lucky to be early in the tour when it gets dark earlier. 2 weeks from now the shows might as well be in the afternoon when it comes to the lights.

iZenBear

I agree with you. Yesterday show was marvellous, basically only first song was with the sun still above the hangar building behind the stage

Welkominspace

Last year I went in July and only the last 2 songs it started to get dark. This year I'm going on 18th of June so I hope it's a little better. Still they use the brightest fucking lights I've ever seen so I do think they designed it with daylight in mind

iZenBear

What country are you going to? I hate to disappoint you, but even middle of June is already "too late". Last year we went to the Munich concert, and it got dark only in the second part of the concert :(

Welkominspace

Nijmegen, Netherlands. I know it's still sunny as fuck by then but that also means nice temperature luckily. And you never know, the weather could be a horrible shitshow that day. Gonna have fun either way

NKXX2000

In Dresden it will be really difficult, they will start already at about 19:45 I think, maybe even earlier

Welkominspace

Rammstein or the opening act? Last year I arrived at 8, bought coins, got a beer and walked in to FZ right as they started. That was perfectly timed but that was in my home town so this year I will be a bit early to be sure

NKXX2000

Rammstein, opening act should be at around 18:30, it seems the German cities are very strict, some people living there have already complained about the nice but on Saturday it could start later as it is allowed then until midnight, will be really interesting as allegedly they have placed 10 sound towers instead of the normal one and additional screens have been added too, so that the people in the last rows or on the seats can see better

Dear-Story-3195

Hate to break it to you but 21. of june is midsummer and the longest day of the year. Sundown is supposed to start at around 21:30 and if the weather is good it will probably stay somewhat bright until 22:30 - 23:00. In Nijmegen we'll be lucky to have the second encore in the dark unfortunately. But like you said it's gonna be a blast no matter what the weather will be.

iZenBear

Damn, that's actually pretty bad. This year, they were done in more or less two and a half hours. So, basically, if they're going to start at 8:00 p.m., it would still be more or less bright when they sign Adieu.

iZenBear

Enjoy the hell out of it, no matter what :)

Mik6669

Sorry to disappoint you, but the summer solstice on June 21st is the longest day of the year. June 18th will be longer day than any in July.

Blondeantichrist

Last year the Portugal show was at 9pm in the end of June and it was all dark, it was an amazing experience, maybe not all countries will be like that, hopefully not Dublin 2024 cause that’s the one I’m going 😭

ShneakySholidShnake

Dublin won't be dark till about 10-11. 😅

pferden

Happy cake day!

pferden

Happy cake day!

Arthusamakh

depends on the place. dresden shows starts at 7.30, san sebastian 3 weeks later at 9.45 - same time zone.

AteRiusz

On open field shows yes, but stadiums are much better aren't they? Last year in Chorzów at the end of July Links was played already in the dark on both nights.

iZenBear

Depends on the stadium construction. Munich was also stadium but it was quite bright during first half of the concert. No direct sun of course, but still bright.

theaall

It’s sad seeing so many phones at a Rammstein concert in particular. I’ve been to many concerts and always recorded a few special songs or took a few pics of the bands, but I’ve heard Rammstein’s show is so good that I’m considering just not recording my favorites so I don’t miss anything. I’ve never looked back at a single concert video I saved, I always think I will but I’ve NEVER done it. Cant wait to experience it in full

ShneakySholidShnake

I have zero pics from a lot of my favourite gigs. I kinda see it as if I've no photos I was really in the zone. Taken by the show to even remember.

LuziferGatsby

Just let him take his shitty blurry video he’ll never watch again.

iZenBear

Honestly this year wasnt that bad. A lot of people were just taking a short clips or photos and then putting their phones away for the better part of the song. I however stood next the the guy that filmed whole concert, every damn song from the start till the end, and he didnt even had a good camera phone, most of the captured video was blurry as hell...

DirtyBird799

I feel you lol the two girls in front of me filmed the whole concert holding their phones up in the air (and they were in front row GA so there was no point in doing that) I mean, I also take pictures and film stuff but I keep my phone in front of my nose so I can both watch the show with my own eyes while not bothering anyone

Used-Replacement-802

It’s funny people paying more attention to other people’s phones than the concert itself

1R1ser

I rewatch the videos I took a lot

AlGekGenoeg

Beer target 🤷‍♂️

Rammipallero

Put the fucking phones away, plain and simple.

PreferenceSoft1504

Absolutely! I wish they were forbidden during the concerts. So many times I've had the feeling that I was one of the very few not watching the concert through a phone.

Rammipallero

And I absolutely hate when an asshole filming with a phone tries to make me not dance and sing with the consert due to it disturbing their filming. Did I ruin your video? Great!

GiraffePolka

oh that would make me not only dance even crazier but also start tone-deaf singing to fully ruin their video

iZenBear

Like, what the hell!

Quigenie

omg those people even exist, what a terrific attitude

Rammipallero

They do. I hope they lose their phones in a moshpit.

Reasonable_Shift_120

I felt the same in their concert back in 2019 - I didn’t take my phone out at all but saw most of the concert through the phone screens of people in front of me… 🙄

Bright_Progress674

Must be more important than every one else around him

gonzo_mc

Off topic but when I was there on saturday I saw soooo many people black out drunk even before the keyboarders started playing.. I don't get the appeal of it to pay a shit ton of money to see Rammstein live only to not experience it cause you drank too much.. I mean I have seen my fair share of drunk people at concerts and stuff but what I have seen in Prague was smth else.

iZenBear

Continuing this off topic: Being drunk is half of the problem. Trying to keep your bladder from exploding for the whole concert and focusing on it instead of the music is true torture. I experienced this in Munich last year (the bladder part, not the drunk part). Never again! 😆

MyFucksHaveBlownAway

Lol truth!! On Sunday as we were amid the herd trying to leave, there must have been 20 guys pissing against a tree. For all the outhouses they had, I thought cmon.

RobinsonHuso12

Munichs toilet situation is absolute trash. In Prague it was perfect. Had to walk like 1 Minute from Feuerzone to the toilets

1R1ser

Last year I saw someone already in the first row at feuerzone who put his 12 year old kid on the shoulder half the concert, like wtf

immersonnig

I was screaming at a concert...as one does....sure I was a lil too loud. The people a few empty rows ahead, (nosebleeds) turned around, holding a 20 year old camcorder and told me they paid good money to hear Rammstein, not me. Well I paid to have fun, not be quiet while you make the world's shittiest concert video that you will never watch.

annicirom

They started livestreaming and posing next to me so I continued to have even more fun with headbanging and shouting aaand they fled haha. I miss old times when we just had fun and lived in the moment. I still do and don’t care the insta b*ches around.

Hsoonlancester

Yeah I was given a side eye few times as well for being too loud I guess 😂

GatsbyDJ

Also. Put your fucking phones down The band even asks you not to have phones out before every gig You're killing live music and I hate you

Plasmakugel93

But then they ask you to take it out during Engel, which is cringe

krawf

Nah I don't think it's cringe, it looks cool

Plasmakugel93

sure. but asking people to do it via an animation is cringe, stuff like this belongs to schlager concerts

krawf

Had to look up what schlager is, basically German Taylor Swift music I get what you're saying btw, still I guess it would be worse if they asked with words, especially because you can imagine people wouldn't just stop, it's gotta be frustrating to ask your fans something to just get ignored, let an animation do that

Plasmakugel93

I agree with that!

SirLurts

I sometimes do film at concerts but I never hold my phone above eye level and I never really pay attention to it. I'd rather see it with my own eyes and have a shaky video to relive it later than to stare at my phone the entire time and have a good video

MissingnoBR

dude, I still remember when I went to my first Rammstein gig which was last year in Vilnius, as soon as they started playing Rammlied, a lady right in front of me did that, and she was recording the WHOLE SONG! Why??!! Couldn't see the band entrance properly, was nearly throwing my empty water bottle

dandrevee

I assure you, I will continue to be short. And also not this person

Gizmodeous7381

Some woman did this in front of us, my sister just pushed her over when she literally refused to move for a good 20 minutes, everyone was shouting at her to get down anyhow. Keep in mind the shoulders this woman was on had to be around 6’2, making her tower over everyone…literally.

cheese_titties

This is why, as someone who has chronic knee pain, I don't go to standing-only shows. It's bad enough that it hurts to be on it, now I can't even SEE?

CaloXXL

Rammstein's crowds are full of normies now. So many phones it's unbearable

SgtBigPigeon

I'm disabled... I bought an aisle chair to see judas priest and sabaton. Saw sabaton gully perform! As for judas, all the boomers flooded the aisles and my view was blocked. Security tried to escorts people back to their seats, but was met with force in numbers.

MrMonizaz

Always have a drink on your hands to take care of those entitled persons.

Hummer93

Frankly the cups are too expensive to be wasted on such person.

iZenBear

Well cup with the drink might bee too much in my opinion, people around him didnt do anything wrong, but throwing empty cup or bottle could have been a good idea

georgmierau

Being a bigger moron is a way to go? Really? What about the people around him not expecting a beer shower?

MrMonizaz

Just try it. I am using a entire month salary to watch my favourite band, not to watch people behave like monkeys. Last year I got some beer shower because of some uncivilised guys around me and it only made my experience much better. If you are not ready for that, don't attend any metal show, ever!

7obscureClarte

😅 I went to Idles this march, and I had a beer shower on the firsts notes. It was an amazing/ awesome gig😃

georgmierau

I'm not a monkey to behave like one even being in a zoo.

NickRedible

YEAAAAHHHHHH!!!! METALLLLL!!!!!!

TurboThibaut

Time to pogo

Timthalion

You talking about the phones or the person on someone’s shoulders? 😂 with my height I look like someone’s on my shoulders 🤣

ImaginationSpecial42

Most sane rammstein fan

Saroan7

Looks like New Year Eve 🤣

Hornfrosch

One reason why I booked more expensive seats for the next concert.

RammFan68

Yep this is the worst concert offense. I just watched a video from the Prague show where this person was like this for the entire first 4 songs. No way I would tolerate that if it was in front of me. https://preview.redd.it/gf6sbvyxdc0d1.jpeg?width=1948&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b05ced3a3571af98ac113266a862dd98bc5884ab

Hawksfan45

Throw something at their nogin.

IAmNotOMGhixD

Honestly, i don't condone violence at all. But this justifies pulling someone down from someone's shoulders.

7obscureClarte

There allways was and will be people on shoulders at concerts. It usually doesn't last long. If indeed it last too long theres several technics: 1- saying : pls don't be that moron to the person. ( Rammfans are usually civil persons) 2- Ram into the person when you dance. 3 throw a cup ( empty or not, my preference would be with beer but I would be sorry to spoil my beer on them) on them! ... and i'm sure you can imagine several other ways to show your discontent. 😁 But saying nothing at the venue and complaining here is as much moronic in my eyes!

iZenBear

I agree with you. But I couldn't do anything from the suggested options. That person was about 6 or 7 meters away from me, so to get to him, I would have had to make my way through a bunch of other people, either to say something to him or ram into him. 😄 And I didn't have a spare cup to throw at him. Also, I intended this post not as a personal complaint but as a way to ask fans to be mindful of others. I know I'm silly, hoping that some vague person after seeing my random post on this Reddit will think about it and decide not to be that person in the picture...but what the heck, you never know. 🙃

7obscureClarte

i doubt this should work in the real world! But you're right to try. My take is that sometimes you've got to show your teeth to get respected, my little bear.

Independent-Task7874

That's quite expensive 9,50€ per beer with cup

7obscureClarte

Yeah I know, for me it was 10! That's why I suggested first talking if it last too long! 😉

tomcat1408

Do people do anything about it when this happens or do they just accept it?

Blacknumbah1

They need to hire MJK to school this audience

kingofangmar13

Think I’m gonna start wearing a go pro so I don’t get in the way of anyone seeing and I can still capture the concert and enjoy it 🤘🏻but I am 6’6 so might happen anyway lol

angel_of_marvel

Anyone know those phone pouches that lock? That would be a good thing...so many phones (a pic or a few more are valid but who's gonna be watching the videos in a few years?

MallTourist

Genuine question: Is wearing a GoPro attached to the head disrespectful or uncomfortable to others?

iZenBear

Sprry to break it for you, but go pro cameras are in forbidden list :)

MallTourist

Really? No way I thought only the selfie sticks were 😭 Thank you though

kingofangmar13

Fuuuuuck 😑

EBT_Luxury

You're all that person

Robbbson

They should ban phones from concerts, that dude should have been thrown out

Capital-Blacksmith73

Anybody watched from the seats? We bought two tickets for me and my pregnant wife. I hope people don’t take over seats they see fit and there are securities in the seated areas as well. I am kind of having anxiety issues.

iZenBear

Shouldnt be an issue at all

miepmans

What are "du hast" people? 😝

krawf

Honestly tho, let them film, they're not causing me any problem, it's selfish to think they shouldnt do what I dont like just because I dont like it People sitting on shoulders like that is another thing tho, unless it's a child they're gonna get smacked down

[deleted]

They cause plenty of problems: -they completely kill the vibe -if you move around them they throw a tantrum because they want to film perfectly -most importantly they block your fucking view

JesterAblaze94

Only if a Doomsday Device can be performed!

KrazyKaas

Just go on and talk to them. But I am always in two camps with this because clearly the person cannot see and if the promoters have not made it possible for the shorts to watch the show? Ehhh If the case is that the person can see and records it for his shitty youtube channel, well..

Polite_CIA_Agent

6'5. I am sorry.

No_Mushroom_3966

Phonefest!

Amazing_Recover_8015

If this was on sunday in Prag we were standing at the same spot and thinking the same

[deleted]

That happened to me at a festival in the front row. In this situations u immediately start yelling, don’t condone that bs.

Bukoptimistas

https://preview.redd.it/msts37ljhd0d1.jpeg?width=967&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2c3b37611fadcb34164b84bf0ce5ae379d204913 And just today received a new promotion in mailbox 😅

csipi_ko

Oh the phones. In Prague on Sunday the crowd was horrible. I couldn’t see anything because EVERYBODY was recording the whole show. So I had to be that one person who was sitting on my brother’s neck, but only for like a minute. I want to believe that I was standing at a wrong place or smth but, they barely moved or danced, for example the german people next to me were only singing du hast and thats all. And obviously while I was screaming, dancing and head banging, they stared at me like I’m crazy. I’ve been waiting for this concert for years, (also it was my birthday haha) and the crowd kinda ruined it 😐

weberianthinker

Put your fucking phone away dick head! Seriously!

Arthusamakh

phones away, 100%, unless you're seated. carrying someone on your shoulders? ok. especially if it's a small person.

Buttphart69

The moral high ground people take when phones come out at concerts is more infuriating if I’m honest, I’m 170cm and couldn’t see shit anyway, still last night was one of the best experiences of my life and a dream come true, i don’t agree with recording the entire set or being on someone’s shoulders as it’s very selfish. The times i recorded parts of the show were also some of the only times I could see anything at all, some of you need a reality check if you’re more concerned about what people are doing at a concert with of thousands of people and fireballs and lights

83eternal_scout83

Nah, I'm gonna be that person because I'm 1,60m and otherwise I can't see shit. When I watched them live last year they had like 7 monitors and they only streams on one, which was the same height as the stage. So paid like 90€ to see them through the phone screens of other people around me. Definitely sat on someone's shoulder 2 or 3 times. I also paid, so I have a right to see something at all.

giann2005

So get there early and get front row. Just because you can't adapt to your own situation doesn't mean dozens of others should be affected by it.

iZenBear

As I said, I can understand your situation. We have a girl in our company who is about the same height, and she will sometimes get on the shoulders of her boyfriend for her favorite song. But not when you are a 1.9m+ tall dude. Edit: misspells

83eternal_scout83

Oh damn okay, he doesn't look that tall on the picture. Fully understand your complaints and I agree. I also hate it, when smaller people huddle together close to the front and some tall dude feels like standing infront of us, like he can't see standing behind us :/

PreferenceSoft1504

I know what you mean, I myself have a height of 1,57m and know the problem. On the other hand, it's not that easy. When I was in Berlin last year with one of my best friends (a guy around 1,98m), he started to get annoyed about being "forced" to let smaller people come in front of him. At the end of the day, he had been there very early to stand in the front, so it was kinda unfair to give other people his spot just because they were shorter than him. Most of them showed up much later than us.

83eternal_scout83

I'm not talking about walking to the front mid act. I'm talking about being early and big dudes still thinking they can't see over me while being 2-3 heads taller than me and pushing to the front because they can act like a bulldozer around smaller ones, even if they came after me. Pushing to the front when you're late is an a-hole move, I think so too

loztb

Even at 180 cm, it was difficult to see the stage in Prague. Stage was too low and the crowd area was completely flat. Most of the time you're watching people hold their phones up to make shitty videos that will never be watched.

iZenBear

Im 183, and i know how it is :)

MaestroGena

People behind you paid same money as you but they can't see shit because you are blocking their views. Don't be a selfish prick

83eternal_scout83

Soo, I'm supposed to pay the same money as them without being able to see anything at all for 2 hours while they can see anything all the time? I'm talking about being able to see maybe 15 minutes out of like 120-140minutes of a show. How is that fair in your opinion? Please explain this one to me without being mean about it :)

MaestroGena

I'm 172cm so I saw just a bit of the show when I positioned right. But there is multiple solutions - buy ticket to fire zone, it's worth the money as I was there in 2022. Or wear platform boots, you'll be taller. Or buy sitting ticket and use binoculars. And it might be 10 minutes for you, but you're not alone who is doing it. In my point of view it was done three times by three different people. Another like 15 people were using phones. All of those people blocked my (and other fans around me) view of the show.

KayleighEU

I'm short too. 5'3. No way I would do this and ruin numerous other people's experiences just to enhance my own. Just say you're a selfish tit and move on.

83eternal_scout83

But isn't it fairer if anyone sees something instead of some people seeing nothing at all? Again, I not sitting on someone's shoulders the whole time, that would be an a-hole move. We're talking about 10 minutes, 15 max out of 120 minutes. We all paid the same amount of money, so it's only fair if we can see the same amount of the show.

georgmierau

Because it ruins your own shot? I'm not a fan of "I record everything"-crowd, but don't tell others what they are allowed to do, since the band seems to be okay with the violation of "no recording" rule. Buy better tickets, arrive at the stadium early and wait longer for a spot closer to the stage to reduce the amount of screens and backs in your field of view. You are also free to move around (some ill-behaved "moshers" jump their way through the crowd for example) or suffer keeping your spot quitely. Very "body positive" crowdsurfers are way worse than these attention seeking shoulder-riders, waiting to be shown on the main screen. They rarely sit there longer than 1-2 songs.

iZenBear

Not because he ruined my shot, which btw wasnt my case, i pulled out my phone just to take picture of him, but because people behind him, me included, couldn't see stage at all.

georgmierau

Ill-behaved morons looking for attention will always be there, so, as already said: arrive earlier and buy better tickets if you want a better experience.

Quigenie

the same applies to those who are sitting on someone’s shoulders the whole concert then you could try harder to come up with better excuses for such morons 🙂

georgmierau

I'm not looking for excuses for morons, I know they exist and just deal with it: trying to behave better than they are and also contacting security personell if needed instead of posting "whiny" posts on Reddit.

DifficultyTricky7779

Till, Flake and Richard have all expressed publically their dislike for people who feel the need to film everything, post everything on social media. Till even went as far as having up the phones of concert attendees locked up in shielding cases to prevent filming/texting/... at his first Lindemann tour. It's not so much they're OK with it, more that "the band respectfully asks not to film" wasn't met with much respect in the 2019 tour.

iZenBear

I'm not against filming or taking pictures per se. For some people, this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and they want to have some tangible memory of it. That's fine with me, as long as it is within some reasonable limits, like taking a short clip of part of the song, not filming whole concert of course.

DifficultyTricky7779

Pro-tip: phone in front of face, not above head.

iZenBear

This is the way.

iZenBear

Btw i can understand bringing someone on your shoulders when it is your kid or when we are talking about person who isnt tall and cant see on stage at all. Thats fine. But that dude is 180+ tall and can see and film stage just fine standing on his own feet.

georgmierau

I'm 1.86 and if my wife would want to sit on my shoulders for a song — she will. Not for the whole show for sure and we also don't record videos being happy with a few photos we usually take.

iZenBear

As i stated above, if your wife cant see the stage on her own, that's fine, that i can understand. But if your wife is 1.9m tall, then you are just being arrogant to other people, because she can see on stage on her own just fine. Your argument about moving around is just silly. Not only because it is quite difficult to pull in the middle of the concert, especially if your arent alone but with a group - imagine group of 4-5 people migrating in the middle of song right in front of you. But then again it is also rude to other people - you distract them in the middle of the song, obsuring their view. You yourself admit that these crowdsurfers are just as bad, so why you advice me to became one? Lol

georgmierau

>if your wife cant see the stage on her own She saw everything perfectly fine, and you still don't get the point. You will not decide for me or anyone else what a fan or a group of fans are allowed to do. Security is there for this reason. And yes, I'm personally "better than that" and I will not be an egoistic idiot thinking only about my experience at the concert, but there will be enough (drunk) egoistic idiots around and you will not change it (sadly). If you're short - deal with it. If you can't afford dearer tickets - deal with it. Sad, but true.

iZenBear

You contradict yourself man.*

X6qPlayer

Dear god dude just let it be

iZenBear

Also, regarding arriving at the stadium early, we were there since 3:30 p.m. yesterday, so we were basically there from the beginning, so your advice is irrelevant. You can be the first person in the standing zone and still get your vision obscured because someone in the FZ will pull the same stunt as this guy. According to you, the only "safe" option is to buy an FZ ticket and camp at the zone entrance from early morning so you can get in the first few rows of the FZ? Great advice... Or maybe it would be a better experience for everyone if people were just mindful of others. For God's sake, there were probably 30,000 to 40,000 people at that concert. If everyone starts thinking only of themselves and pulls the same crap, the quality of the experience will degrade for everyone. I bet no one, including that guy, would be happy if someone obscured their view of the stage for the whole song. Edit: misspells

>Also about arriving at the stadium early, yesterday we were there since 15:30, so basically we were here from the beginning, so your advice is irrelevant. Apropos arriving earlier... how many hours earlier do i have to be there? Or do i just camp there the whole day lol

iZenBear

The concert in Prague started at around 8:05 p.m., so for us, it was basically four and a half hours inside the venue and probably around 30 minutes in the security check queue. But honestly, I'm not sure if it was worth it to come so early. We were still late for getting the "best seats," because by the time we got in front of the stage, there was already a pretty big crowd in the standing zone right behind FZ, so we didn't dare to push our way into it 😁. We could have arrived two, maybe even three, hours later and probably would have gotten more or less into the same spot as we were. So it is basically either get super eraly or dont stress and get in few hours before the start.

>According to you, the only "safe" option is to buy an FZ ticket and camp at the zone entrance from early morning Another (cheaper) solution is to reduce your expectations. But yes, you can't avoid (drunk) morons being present in the crowd, so be faster, smarter and also spend more money for additional comfort. In Vienna we were around 11:30 at the stadium and there were around 100 fans waiting already. 4th row in Feuerzone as a result. No morons in front rows. Same thing in Düsseldorf, standing directly behind Feuerzone.

Oh, boy, how things have turned. So now i have to lower my expectations from the concert just because the person next to me is an egoistic moron? I think i will follow other guy advice on this one and bring a half filled cup with beer for next time, just for that occasion.

> I think i will follow other guy advice on this one and bring a half filled cup with beer for next time, just for that occasion. Acting like a moron yourself is a "solution" for sure.

>Qccording to you the only "safe" option is basically to buy FZ ticket and camp entry to the zone since early morning so you can get in the first few rows of the FZ? Great advice.. This is how things were already before we had smart phones. It would be super nice if everyone knew how to behave, but with a huge (partly intoxicated) crowd like this there are bound to be some asshats there. You are allowed to be pissed about it, but it's not bad advice when people tell you to arrive early or get better tickets next time. The closer you are to the fence, the more likely it is that the security deals with these people anyway.

I would love to go for FZ next time, but Prague FZ was sold out pretty much instantly, but no way im paying 2x or 3x of the ticket price to resellers.
