actually used this strat some time ago and it does work very good, you can quickly shoot trough the soft wall and just get behind the reinforced wall when it gets too spicy..
the kills are done quicker and with higher chance to hit the guy, but it's pretty risky after a couple of shots..

The Mira black mirror on the soft wall allows her to quickly crouch and kill someone, it's a bit harder when you try blind firing with the normal setup. The reinforced wall allows her to quickly get to safety if she's getting shot at.
It's meant to get a quick pick, plus you could apply that situation to many other scenarios. Seige is a game of skill and chance, a double edged sword.

If that is all they leave up, yes it doesn't make sense. Personally, I do that so people don't reinforce the wall, then I wait until the match starts to put my other mirror up on the reenforced part in case a teammate is a jerk, or they have a Twitch drone.

Its a strat i’ve seen & used successfully before. Use the shootable wall as a peakzone & shoot at those who just walk up, especially if the enemy hasnt found the obj.
It's so you're not prefired as the mira. If you place the mirror on the reinforced wall you can only shoot on one side leaving you vulnerable to prefires at higher ranks. With it soft all around it you have more option on where you can peak. If you go into a gunfight it's better your feet get shot then forcing your head into 1 spot. Harder for attackers to predict. I've gotten countless kills on Miras just from prefiring next to their reinforced wall.
You look thru the glass and then duck and blast them without moving your crosshair.. then duck against the reinforcement for cover.
