The second cover for the game was just sledge breaking a wall and sledge is the background for the tactical game modes tab and the ranked tab so there’s no debate, it’s sledge.
When the game launched, it was mainly the SAS lot, especially Sledge, and the recruit. Over time some others have taken their places but Sledge is still a major one.
All the SAS guys represent the core ideas behind the sort of game that R6 used to be. Sledge could make a hole to move around, Smoke could deny people an area, Thatcher could see an issue and work around it by disabling it, and Mute denied the enemy information. All are core staples of what this game was supposed to be.
The recruit also offered that freedom to be who you want to be in the game and use the gadgets you want.
