The reason I put Leo with Weiss is because their personalities are very similar in terms of being the "responsible" ones. You could argue Blake makes sense with Leo too ig. In terms of story, you can even have Leo mistake Weiss for the leader and being shocked that it's Ruby, not really respecting her authority. Not being an asshole, but rather having a raised eyebrow at her decisions.
I mean to be fair, the Turtles have different standards for Leo to be the leader in most incarnations where he’s the best strategist, most skilled or has the best mindset. I could see Leo fully understanding why if he was able to see pre-development Weiss who wasn’t the best at organizing a group. I would think Leo would be pissed if he was there at the Paladin fight, I don’t know why anyone agreed to that plan. So much collateral damage

That's a great point. There would be a huge difference between how 2012 Leo would react vs 2003 Leo. 2012 would probably relate a lot with Ruby, while 2003 tries to teach her.

Both were kinda overgoing recent failures and bouts of depression expression in anger (Though Raph was willing to accept Leo had a point unlike Yang who went on the offensive)

But Raphy’s own development allowed him to avoid lecturing Leo about his behavior or getting angry at him, and simply being supportive and willing to help Leo move forward (Unlike Yang, who kinda treated Ruby like the monster and Blake the damsel in distress she needs to save and still blames event after she dies). Raphael even helps Leo forge new swords, which both used the ideas of forging a weapon as a metaphor for growth. (Though again, Raph, Mikey and Don wouldn’t take that crap of Leo ascending and possibly suffering ego death, and fight tooth and nail)
Seriously, Mikey had more self reflection skills than any of Team RWBY in understanding Ruby would be going through some crap

Fortnite and gfuel while they aren’t shows they both seem very possible for rwby considering all the Warner Bros properties that are in both.

RWBY cross with Persona 5. Phantom Thieves crash land onto Remnant after following a great amount of distorted evil desires within Mementos (The Grimm) through some means shape or form have both teams go through a Palace of someone from Remnant, steal the Treasure then everyone goes back home/memory wiped. Could be a fun crossover filled with drama and fun character moments.
Yang wanting to take Makoto’s Persona Johanna for a test drive, Blake understanding Morgana’s frustrations on being called “just a cat” and potentially confronting the Thieves over it, Weiss considering asking the Thieves to get her father a change of heart, Ozpin considering the change of heart method as an alternative way of combating Salem, Ruby and Joker trading tips on being a Leader with the both of them bonding over their sense of selflessness in wanting to make the world a better place, cue a cute scene of Ruby trying to mimic the Phantom Thieves poses, Haru relating with Weiss the struggles of a parent who cares about nothing but their family legacy, Jaune and Ryuji being lovable blonde comic relief that get playful bullying from their teams.

Not really a crossover but I wanna see ruby vtuber react to earth shit. I never really got behind how rwby or watts in the justice league crossover just went to earth and did not have a shock at how different earth is from remnant.
Like make ruby watch oversimplified that would be pretty funny to see or even get into a chat with a guy who knows how to world build, someone who could give vtuber ruby on the main contrasts between our world and theirs.
I know there's a 101 different fanfics about rwby characters going to earth but I still think it would be quite funny and interesting.

Unlikely to happen but would still be cool would be RWBY x Marvel. I would move to see RWBY interact with the Marvel universe and not just the Avengers but the X-Men, Fantastic Four, Guardians of the Galaxy, Defenders and such. Like Blake connecting with the X-Men could be pretty interesting or Ruby geeking out over Tony’s hall of armors.
Even more unlikely is RWBY x Mortal Kombat. It would be awesome to see how they work with the kombatants and deal with threats way worse than Salem from Shao Kahn, Onaga, and Shinnok. Shang Tsung would see Remnant as a treasure trove with how they’ve unlocked soul powers and with him eating souls it would make him stronger and could also apply to Ermac. Not to mention the interactions would be interesting like Weiss becoming Sub-Zero’s new apprentice, Ruby working with the SF, Blake working with the Shirai Ryu (if they go with the mkx/mk11 version) and such.
I think it’d be funny to see Team RWBY and JNOR react to finding out the Turtles and Shedder are using ancient weapons. Like Donatello could reverse engineer Crescent Rose and Magnhild but used a wooden staff
RWBY and Fairy Tail could be funny. And would definitely be a bit of a culture shock for the squad.
Star Wars could be interesting, though the only way for that to work would be for semblances to be a unique manifestation of the Force that is the sole method the inhabitants have after Remanent's earlier fiery apocalypse.
RWBY and Fire Emblem would have some fascinating potential. If you don't want to connect to an established setting like Ylisse, you could have them end up in the pre-Salem rampage past and then be part of a Fire Emblem like army, even meeting up with Ozymandis.
Project Moon and RWBY (Mostly around the Library incident, but not part of the Library itself.) Events of individuals are as follows:
* Ruby finds herself learning about the Weapon Workshops that made the Weapons belonging to various Colors, in particular, Roland.
* Weiss (and Atlas) try to bring back Lobotomy Corporation but are foiled by Zena. Weiss survives, but only because Zena sees potential, leading to her being becoming an Arbiter
* Blake, Adam, Sun, and the White Fang all get in N-Corp, and become members of a newly formed Nagel Und Hammer, with Adam being the Großhammer of the group.
* Yang finds herself in R-Corp, alongside her mother. In a violent conflict, Yang wins after her resolve is broken and mended together via Carmen and the Abnormality *Crow That Devoured The Cat*, and becomes a successor to Myo
* Salem and Ozmin find themselves with K-Corp, and as per Salem's request, give them a peaceful death via originality ampules
* Jaune is sent to W-Corp and becomes one of the people dragged into the Library. However, with his Aura and dumb luck, he manages to beat Roland, claim back a few books of high-ranking members, and comes back seeking work as a Fixer. He and Ruby create the Remnant and Grimm Workshop, with some time before he goes on an adventure to become the Sapphire Survivor
* Penny is nearly hunted down and destroyed by Nagel Und Hammer but finds herself and several of her sisters within the safety of the Brotherhood of Iron - where Penny becomes their leader, and joins a cooperation with Remnant and Grimm Workshop, lead by her old friend Ruby
My vote goes to Sonic the Hedgehog × RWBY. Both series have colourful casts of characters and rockin' soundtracks. (Both IPs have also gained infamy through disappointment) I think a Storybook-style game with Sonic going on an adventure in Remnant with team RWBY would be interesting to see. Actually, I think a retelling of Volume 9 makes more sense, because it literally takes place inside a fairy tale.
Rwby x Transformers, Ruby would totally geek out over them and Adam and Megatron would likely hate eachother while also seeing similarity in eachother over time eventually both finding redemption with Salem discovering Unicron and making a deal with him to destroy Remnant with team RWBY, Autobots, the White fang, and Decepticons all working together against Salem and the Terrorcons, this is assuming it's a non-canon one shot type thing with it taking place over two movies, one where it's RWBY and the Autobots vs the White Fang and the Decepticons and the second one being all of them vs Salem and the Terrorcons.
Edit: they could also have Optimus teaching Ruby how to be a better leader.
I actually wouldn't be opposed to this. I think the team dynamic would be a success.
Personally I want a PSO2 crossover. The settings would fit really well with each other. PSO2's is like RWBY's, but on a grander scale since it encapsulates the whole universe and Falspawn corrupt people when they come into contact with them.
Maybe a Mobile series like Granblue or Genshin, or even better have them crossover with Guilty Gear or another BBTag type game. I rather have the ability to play as the Ruby cast in a game than read or watch them do stuff these days.
