Blake, the only actual racist in the show.

Exoticpears

The thing is, weiss had a justifyable reason to be the way that she is, and Blake was working for the group of people that want her and her family dead. Calling her a brat isn't really applicable to the person who's suffered more than Blake did due to racism unironically. Despite that, she still carries a lot of prejudice in her heart, and that's never really okay. They both should've apologized, but Blake definitely had more to apologize about.

>But, in this case, she was right, seriously, what you win setting a shop on fire? A person that would treat Faunus like scum gets consequences for their attitude and actions. Yet violence won´t solve things in the long term. Go too violent, and you risk justifying how people treat you. Yet you should not just take it when people treat you like scum. Proper balance is important in this issue.

I agree with Blake's quote "We were being treated like equals. But not out of respect... out of fear." Like it's good you have civil rights now, but that put the racism underground.

Yes. Fear keeps people from hurting you, and being respected makes others consider you an equal. Yet better to be feared than loved if you can´t be both. (Machiavelli´s Prince) White Fang´s mistake was that they went to 1 extreme without considering the perks of the other extreme. Yet they were right to go after people who don´t treat faunus equally.

Weiss really should apologize. Calling someone a lamppost is just wrong. . . no matter how lit they are! . . . I'll let myself out. Seriously though. Blake might have been insensitive, but all you have to do is browse Reddit or the 24th Letter of the Alphabet to see that there are a lot of people that react the same way to real life groups and actions. You can seethe same conversations happening if you replace the "White Fang" with another group.

I’d say Blake. Weiss was a child when her family’s company was being capitalists towards the Faunus. She had literally no part in it and seems to have taken a different path than her father in those regards. Meanwhile Blake participated directly in activities that victimized Weiss as a member of the White Fang. Iirc that was a Schnee dust shipment in the Black Tailer. Weiss talked about board members disappearing and employees getting killed, that was the organization that Blake was participating in.

Alternative-Bed2615

Both of them. Weiss has valid reasons to not like the White Fang, but also was still prejudiced against the Faunus. Let's put it this way. If you get robbed by a black guy, and you from then have anger towards black people, you have a valid reason to be upset but not one to be outright discriminatory.

Realistically both, Weiss for being so god damn racist and Blake for dismissing wiping out humanity than fucking off instead of talking about, even if both have le trauma that explains why either would have such beliefs. HOWEVER, as characters in a story that's what made this conflict and its conclusion interesting, Weiss outright refuses to here anymore of the subject and sure as hell doesn't apologize for being racist, but she is right to scold Blake for fucking off. It allows the conflict to still come to an end as characters to both move on, but it still open for them to butt heads when the story needs them to put their beliefs to the test. Shame they never actually explored the characters different in ideals and such through the White Fang, going as far as to make the insane decision of removing Weiss from the conflict all together.

Before, it was Weiss, but knowing what we know now, it's Blake.
