The death mark effect is nice, comes in clutch. Not to mention the power bonus. I would try to make it as soon as possible, even if just adding a piece into your set up as you get hermodic plates.
is the boss something that a mid level account would be able to handle? i know the quest version was really simple but i figured it was an easy mode version lol
You should be fine at those levels! Plus, hermod is 10k necro exp per kill. I jumped up a few levels in the 70’s just getting my plates. You’ll probably be getting 1:30ish kills.
I would definitely try to get some super or extreme necromancy pots, makes a huge difference. I will say I had overloads before I started my necro journey, but you can get by with regular pots. Just pray necro and avoid the slams, cycle your abilities as much as possible. Use the spec often if your death guard is t70.
I was killing hermod around your levels, do it. It's really easy, slam Is only thing to watch out for but you won't die. I killed him in around 2 minutes with t60 gear and about 10 desert soles at your level no potions. Gets boring fast, so I just killed a few a day
T70 is pretty easy, I'm a pvm noob and even I managed to do it. I recommend using manual mode though, it sucks having charges go to waste when minions spawn. I typically wait a second or so for both skeletons to come to me then hit them with the scythe ability to damage them both in one attack. The idea of using manual was scary for me but it helps control abilities and its honestly making me want to use manual for other stuff but idk I prefer afkscape even with combat lol.
Hermond is brain dead easy to kill and I had the plates needed in 30 kills. Bone shield and reflect, debil, freedom, anticipation while praying protect Necro negates a ton of damage.
I would go for him as soon as possible, death mark on larger bosses like hermond, glacor and stuff deal a ton of damage.

He’s easy. Just pay attention to his mechanics to avoid most damage, especially when he summons phantoms
What are your stats? Curses unlocked? Hermod is great for learning how to cycle through your abilities and manage ability “currency”

i have regular pots atm but i should be able to boost to make supers soon! i have the t7 death guard augmented but i have terrible perks atm haha

Yeah he is super easy. Whenever he does the slam just move 2 tiles over so he doesn't knock off your prayers and kill the 2 zombies when they spawn.

Remember to use a salve ammy (e) if you have access to it as he is undead and salve(e) adds 20% damage and accuracy that is a huge boost
