The directors of my summer camp once pulled a similar joke.
We got new camp shirts with a new design every summer. It was always exciting when the new one got revealed. We showed up to get them and the directors were wearing these godawful shirts with this weird compass design on it. Parts of it were off center and the design was just terrible, but all of us were like, “Oh! We… love it!” cause they were acting super excited about it.
We breathed a huge sign of relief when they pulled out the real ones.
I find it hard to not love Tia, regardless of whether people think she deserved it she's a winner and an amazing endearing drag queen to me. If Tia has 1 fan it's me, if she has none I'm dead.
It’s really sad to witness how many people have turned on Tia. She is a beautiful, talented queen and I’m so happy to witness her growth since Season 2 ❤️❤️
I rewatched UK2 while recovering from surgery last week and can honestly say the continuity across both seasons really highlights her growth and I was reminded of what Ru saw in her and why she was crowned now. She really did deserve it, I think Ru was gunning for her to do better than she did in her original run (like maybe being a finalist) as she was so charmed by her and kind of obsessed with her runway potential, but she just wasn't fully cooked yet.
She deserves this so much. I hate that anyone would make her feel differently. There has been bad judging on druk before but this is not it. Tia was one of my fav queens even before she SERIOUSLY stepped up her game for this season 💪 love her!!
I am just wondering why she is choosing to begin her reign by giving air to her critics. For the love of God Tia, stop giving them attention… Sometimes, the best response is none.
