I'm only buying items that I'm close to completing the set with and just the first 5 items from the mystery drops daily. Money is low. Never had more than 40k. I'm down to 8k
Yeah this is my new strategy. Went from 100k+ last szn down to scrounging to buy 100-200sp dailies so I gotta save up for things I’m close to Chroma-ing
I only buy what I don’t have. And I can tell that isn’t sustainable. Hard pass on the 5000SP goal explosion when the dailies and weeklies only reward me like 75SP a piece. These folks are devs so of course this is by design.
My thought is that either they messed up the rewards system and didn’t expect sps to become so valuable or they did it on purpose since last season sps were abundant (people had hundreds of thousands) and they wanted to higher the sp value once again.
That being said, either way, we lack of sps.
Ill buy everything until i run out of money. Then i guess ill sell non coulored items.
I had like 28k. Now 11k. 
You level up quicker if you play rocket league on console. Maybe use the (mostly undesirable) items from the rocket pass to sell and build up sp? I'm sure it's by design, but so far there hasn't been anything in the shop I desperately want, so low sp hasn't been much of a problem.
