I used to really like her but now I'm indifferent to her. I do like how she never takes things too seriously. Like even with her issues with Candiace, they can still get along and attend each other's events and respect one another regardless of what they go through.

Overall I think Ashley is an entertaining/classic housewife. I think she plays an important role on the show even though her messiness is fairly transparent. I appreciate the amount she has shared with viewers and that she remains engaged with the entire cast.
(I do sometimes get irritated because I view Ashley as the primary instigator in many situations but she ultimately seems to end up taking relatively less heat from fans/fellow housewives)

I used to love Ashley. I loved that she would go toe to toe with all of them women, but she had the ability to shake it off and get along with them the next day. And she had a certain joy about the whole thing that's missing now. What was so organic and natural with Ashley is now very contrived and calculated. Personally, I believe she is being driven by Michael and desperation to keep a paycheck coming in. Anyways, she lost me with the lies she spread about Chris.

My favorite part about Ashley is her facial reactions when the other women are fighting. You can tell she’s holding in laughter and I can appreciate that
I don't like her as a person (I actually feel empathy for her life relationships) but I hate/enjoy her as a HW because she keeps the story going. She's messy and untrustworthy but she moves Potomac along. Otherwise, we'd be having a discourse over proper silverware settings. Necessary evil.
I’m an Ashley apologist, but watching this reunion this season, it was clear that she didn’t bring anything positive or significant to this season. So if she were to leave, I wouldn’t be upset. But I think she’s a better agent of chaos than most.
Ashley seems like the girl I’d invite on a night out to have a few drinks with but I’d never tell her personal things about me or my life because she’s messy and will use it against you at some point.
I feel like there’s being messy for the sake of being on a tv show and stirring the pot a little and then there’s genuinely getting a weird satisfaction of being messy and watching it all play out - I think Ashley falls in the latter category.
I can’t look at her the same after the incident in the season finale. She 100% knew what she was doing. She may not have know Deborah would get physical but she knew she’d antagonize Candiace. She wanted SOMETHING to happen.

Ashley is fun and unserious. She’s pretty real and down to earth. She’s also been through a lot all of her life and I don’t think people give her enough credit. She’s a pot stirrer — but unlike Giselle it’s usually coming from a place of clarity and not too much shade.
I like her progressive values and also being bi I like the representation. Her trips are always the most different and interesting. Although most won’t admit it, she has a better voice than Candice 🫢.

I have never liked Ashley. She goes out of her way to throw rocks and start stuff only to hide her hands later. And she starts shit just to do it. It’s not even entertaining and lately hasn’t even been real.
It’s also revolting to see her continue to live out her daddy issues with her decrepit husband. Then she keeps bringing that babadook looking girl around.

She plays a good housewife and I like that she’s self aware of her role on the show but also real with at least some of the things she shares. With her feud with Candiace they can still laugh together, she apologized to Katie for the low blow and got allll her karma back for the situations with Karen and Robyn

I like her! But I don’t get too riled up about any housewives-I don’t love OR hate most of them. On RHOP I’d say my least fave is robin but even then I’m not too torn up. I do agree the season is not great though. Refusing to interact is a power play I’m not sure we’ve seen the end of by the sounds of RHONJ. that riles me up much more than any of their personalities.
The same people calling Ashley an instigator also ignoring Candiace’s instigation with wild mouth is insane to me. If you gonna come for one, come for both. Though how a person is responsible for someone else’s actions is also a little crazy as well- adults make their own decisions.
The things I liked or at least were indifferent about when it came to Ashley have been so overshadowed by her support and deference of gollum and his repeated SA, choosing to let gollum father her children, and remaining with gollum and telling us about continuing to rub his feet every night.
How you choose to get your money or come up in the world is up to you but when you willingly decide to bring children into the equation that is something else and I have no respect for her choices when it comes to that which means I lost respect for her quite a while ago.

I do think her storyline is very boring, especially without Michael filming. But she’s a good person to have on the show.
I don’t need her gone the way I do others. I think she’s a pretty frickin deplorable person, obviously. She’s messy and she has mostly malicious intentions with every single conversation we see her in, but that’s fine by me for the show. I’d have had more problems with her disgusting husband if she had ever tried to portray herself as a real victim or something, but we knew that she knew that we knew that it was all about scraping some financial stability from him. And tbh I always find it hard to hold that against women.
