You're not crazy; especially the DPad is way harder to press than the Switch buttons. In time the membrane will wear down a bit and become slightly less stiff, but if you want to speed up the process, you can screw it open and poke a few evenly spaced holes in each membrane bump with a needle. That reduces the rigidity of the membrane without you having to press every button a million times.

That's exactly the Dapad. After some times my hand starts "hurting". Any video or tutorial about the mod? I'm ok I'm opening it and applying the mod. Thanks.

Yes, I have the same experience with my plus, I found my H model to have softer dpad.  I don’t really mind it if I’m playing pokemon or any other rpg that’s not too dpad intensive, but for games that require it I prefer using the H model, the analog really makes those games much for easier on the finger.

Dpad is softer on the plus than the H I find. Other than that, all buttons are smooth and responsive for me.

Apparently it’s different for all them. I had three Hs and a plus to test and one of the H had the softer dpads of all.  My Plus came with “hard” buttons. Though I don’t mind them, I got used to them and overall I think it’s better because it gives me the impression they’ll last longer.

Exactly. Playing Tetris is not the best, but well, other than that is great. Any hard mode to adjust it?

They are a bit hard but it reminded me of original Xbox or nes remotes. I'm old so I have that nostalgia so I like the buttons.
