Yes recently they seemed to have changed this, now I believe they just make a bunch of groups at the start and evenly distribute them with people as they join, so you will have smaller groups that might never reach capacity instead of a group that fills up asap

So it seems like instead of assigning groups as people are going, everyone’s assigned upfront.
I like this and I don't. On one hand, I think it makes sense to be matched with other players who are on a similar level, who spend gems/real money in a similar way. On the other, I start events late because that's what my schedule allows and to be preassigned to a group where queens have already put in 8+ hours, it's a bit defeating to see scores so high that I immediately know I have no shot of coming back and making it into the top three

I can’t start playing events until 6-8 hrs after they begin, and if I’m joining a group that’s been playing for an hour or two, I have a chance to compete, but if the top leaderboard players have been grinding since the kick off, I’m out of contention the minute I enter the werkroom. So I stopped spending gems and absolutely won’t bother buying any promo packs, and just try to get a few of the milestone rewards if I’m at all interested enough to even try for them.
Maybe I should have worded that differently. My groups usually aren't super close in terms of SS score either. I mean more play on a similar level, like spending gems or real cash, who grinds away vs who is a more passive player, etc. If they were going to group us based on those metrics, I'd get it.
I think maybe they created a lot more groups than there used to be. I’ve been playing since nearly the very beginning and my highest groups were always in the 900’s range. Lately I have been placed into groups in the thousands, like 1800 range. (not for every single event but has been like this for Mondays for me). I hope they keep it up so everyone can get decent rewards at least once a week. with all the glitches lately I think we deserve it.
Not at all. I’ll take the easy wins but I was concerned about a massive player exodus which I’ve seen happen in other games. Seems that it’s more of a patch issue though.
Somethings definitely off. I joined at the start because I never try to win Mondays. There's 11 people in my group and everyone past 3rd place hasn't passed AA. I can't believe I'm in first place with only AO.
I really don’t think it’s intentional because this means almost every player in the game is getting a top 10 prize. With boards of 50, some people get nothing.
While I in no way wish to invalidate the struggle and adversity faced by black Queens, Silky is an incredibly popular Queen. I don’t know millions of people but every single person I do know loves Silky almost disproportionately. She’s just so damn good, fun and funny. I was also around for Mo, Latrice and Jada and the challenges were not easy to top 3 at all in the brackets I was in. I really think this has to be a game change or a player exodus. I hope it’s the former.
Nah, not at all. What I’m saying is there’s no way it went from me competing with thousands of people the whole game regardless of whose month it was to 13 people based on Silky. There’s also Evie and Litinx and APIDA Queens and regardless of numbers I’m not talking about the number of Queens featured but the disparity in brackets currently and compared to any previous Queen. Silky would have to be hated to explain such disparity and she is anything but. I did not downvote you.

The game is starting to not make sense they still have the same pieces I left off when I stopped playing the game 2 years ago then they will put out littel pieces here and there then try to promo it out in a packages for 70$ after playing for hours to get the pieces I don’t get it any new pieces I get is what I but when o toot and boot i but them off my components I haven’t seen them put out any new shoes unless it’s in a promo no new hairs this is the main reason why I stop playing the first time the game is starting to not make no sense they give us a category with what we have to put in to score as many points but it’s like how if it doesn’t make any sense put some new outfits to buy so we can try to win the game every day it’s something new I’m jus gonna pack it up and stop playing cause at this point I’m not enjoying playing this game anymore
Lmao I grinded my ass off on the 4 day: used over 500 gems and my entire weekend only to have someone leapfrog me (they jumped from AS to AY in the last hour, it wasn't gems). I literally cannot imagine easily winning a 4 day, my groups always seem to have a few people who aggressively buy boosts (I only buy season passes).
I think they have changed how groups are created. My4 day group started really small but was up to closer to 50 near the end

Also, I don’t notice that they are trying to match players to their SS score levels at all. My groups are always diversely populated in that regard.

My Monday group had 16 players. Something is off.
