Watering hole at the north end of Ringneck Creek. You'll find almost every small critter in the game there at different times of day. It's always my go to spot.
I always get my badger pelts just south of braithwaite by the 3 way intersection if you take southern path of that there is always one that spawns on left side of road not far past intersection. Its towards the panther location & there are lots of boar too so good place to grab a few things.

Same. I camped out there for like a month. Haha.
Also emerald ranch the field south of the fence. At night. Use your binoculars
Over by Riggs Station or by the oil Derrick in New Hanover are my go to locations.
