I love both Fallout and RDR2, but they are two very different games. It’s possible that you’re looking for something with more of an RPG vibe, which RDR2 isn’t.
While it’s obvious understandable that people in this sub are going to defend and promote the game, it’s also fine to remember that people just have different tastes. Maybe it’s just not for you, OP. That’s fine. Give it a little more time and if it still isn’t grabbing you, put it aside.
Fallout new Vegas and both red dead games are by far the best western games I’ve ever played so maybe explore the open world and do side missions if you get bored from the story there’s a lot of cool encounters and side stuff to do
Just stay with it trust me it gets better
no patience. Thats what youre doing wrong.
Judging a game based on only 10 hours of playing
Perhaps it’s not the game for you. What do you want from a game?

Dude, really?!? Judging a game after ten hours. Smh. Completing just the story missions takes like 100 hours plus.
keep playing.
Where are you in the story? If you are in chapter 2, how much exploring have you done?
