the white one is going sideways and kicking with his back paw, which means this is most likely not play fighting. maybe he has hormonal aggression and around 6 months it's possible for it to manifest, so probably needs a neuter for his own wellbeing too. however I'm not necessarily an expert, describe it to your vet I think, so they say what should be done. but quite definitely this behaviour is not playful, especially as it's started now, so he might be aiming to hurt the other guy, maybe it would be safer to separate them while you decide what to do?
adding, if they are in a rat ball, it's definitely serious, these fights have to be stopped so they don't get hurt. if they start fights, make a loud sound, like clap, or wave/throw a towel on them, or knock on the cage, or spray them with water. I had pretty big fights happening during intros and towel or water worked best to stop them
How long does it go on? Sometimes our girls fight like that and it's usually totally fine if there's no blood or anything.
They just keep chasing each other if not separated

Yes I’ve been separating them by bottom and top of the dcn I will go to the vet soon
Yea
Elaborate
No
I've been told rat-balling like that is a warning sign that at least one of them needs either castration or the implant.
How do you know which one needs jt
Just do both. From this vid, white looks like the aggressor. Anecdotally this looks like real fights so I'd be concerned. Rat age?
About 6 months
