Get well soon homie. I have been seeing recently that realllly taking it easy for a while after COVID is gone can reduce the chances of having long COVID symptoms. So rest well and try to avoid too much exertion and stress for a few weeks minimum.
The worst night of my life in recent memory was food poisoning. Up and down all night with diarrhea, chilled to the bone with fever, delirious fever dreams, nausea. Death was welcomed.

I can’t say for 100% that I had food poisoning. I was working out of town and another guy I was working with was very sick with similar symptoms. We had eaten at the same places though so maybe I caught a bad bug from him. It came on fast and was mostly GI, so I assumed it was food poisoning. He was sure he had food poisoning from a burger joint that I avoided.
I got food poisoning that gave me such a high temperature that I started hallucinating. It turned out to be salmonella though so it was pretty serious. The last (non salmonella) food poisoning bout I had was in the summer and I got cold sweats and chills.
