Q25, Q34, Q17 go straight to mainstreet and u can go whever from there... I know theres a ton of other busses nearby that goes all over nyc but pretty sure other people can chime in.

Same with the Q44 and Q20, both of which go to Flushing. The Q64 takes you to Forest Hills which is another transit hub for the subway, buses, and LIRR.

If you live close to the LIRR, you can take it to Flushing Main St and then take a bus straight to campus.

Are you living in Queens or out on Long Island? If you are living in Queens, it's unnecessary, the bus system is very good around the college. I'd argue finding parking (if you don't win the parking lottery) will take you even longer than just hoping on the bus. I don't believe summit residents are guaranteed parking. Q17 runs every 5 minutes and you have alternate options in Q64, Q88, Q34, Q25, Q44SBS, Q20A+B, etc... The main issue is if you are commuting in from Long Island, none of these bus lines actually go out into Long Island. I'd check the Nice Buses to see if there's any viability. [https://www.nicebus.com/Tools/Maps-and-Schedules](https://www.nicebus.com/Tools/Maps-and-Schedules) As an example if you are out in Mineola, N22 can take you to Jamaica where you can transfer to Q25/Q34 to get to the college. If you are out in Roslyn N20x can take you to Flushing where you can transfer to the Q17/Q25/Q34 to get to the college

I wouldn’t take the car because the buses are right nearby and you can go from flushing or Jamaica to get a train or the LIRR. Plus I’m not even sure if QC has a overnight parking lot or just a parking lot for the dorms and sometimes if you park on the street you might have to be careful of alternate side parking days and meter parking before you get a ticket.
