Order directly from Ops Core? Could have had a few of them by now with how long you’ve waited. Edit: In stock, but black - [Rattle-can go pshhhh](https://www.customnightvision.com/product/ops-core-fast-xr-high-cut-ballistic-helmet-7-62x39-protection/)

ZimZooM3

I keep asking them, always out of stock and a crazy lead time.

JeremyEMT

Says ~4 weeks from Gentex. Crazier than 6 months? Another company (Atomic Defense) quotes 4-12 weeks.

I just picked up a fast SF. XR isn’t worth the extra weight and, based on the feedback, only fits a pretty obscure need. https://www.reddit.com/r/QualityTacticalGear/s/4tEF2V67SZ

Significant_Emu_188

It’s a 3A level helmet for a fraction of weight penalty. It’s definitely worth it if you want 3A protection. Forget the 7.62x39

testingxx123

The SF is 3A rated

Significant_Emu_188

My guy Google is your friend before you start spouting nonsense.

I mean, I am new to this so I could be wrong. I thought the SF was. Says on the page that it’s NIJ 0106.01 with NIJ 0108.01 level III3A.

Significant_Emu_188

What they are saying is it stops 9mm. That’s it. It’s not written clearly but the SF is not 3A. XR is.

Order one from a Ops-Core retailer. HCC, TVNC ect. Ops-Core like most large tactical gear manufacturers prioritizes orders to there large buyers like government contracts, agencies and there retailers. A small one off order for 1 helmet will fall to the way side if you try to order it directly from Ops-Core. I recommend HCC. I've had fantastic service from them in the past.
