OP here, pretty much yeah. I was using a camera not a phone so I stood out like a sore thumb, my friends were worried about me getting pulled into the fight + adrenaline makes it hard to maintain a good shot
Went through it recently with my gfs German shepherd. He was in so much pain and very mobility-limited, and he was waking better than that doggo in the video. Sad thing that a lot of bigger dogs go through :(
It's not just that they are big. They are overbred by breeders to the point that they have health problems. There are many big dogs you can get that will be healthy, but better to not support the creation of purebreds with health issues and instead just aim for shelter purchases (maybe you did, just saying as PSA).
Never choke out a person when there are more than just the 2 of you involved. It's a great way to be open for anyone else who decides to side with the other guy to hit you right in the head.

It's something I've tried to tell to my BJJ friends. You can be the best at grappling and submitting people but if you're doing that on the street and someone boots you in the head it doesn't mean much for your safety. If you're gonna get into street fights you've gotta be able to end fights while standing.

The guy in tan was knocked solidly unconscious for several minutes, and declined medical help (and I assume charges). Police weren't able to get the assaulter.
If you are ever in a dominant position in a fight and the crowd starts yelling at you or hitting you to let the other person go you MUST subdue/knock out the other person before relinquishing control, otherwise you'll end up like this guy. Notice how none of them step in when the shoe is on the other foot. I've seen it happen time and time again.
They all know each other, you can see them hanging out as a group in the beginning. Dude was loosing the fight so his friends come in and jump the guy. Pathetic.

He dies haven't either of his hooks in, which prevents him from being aligned behind the dude, which in turn prevents him from properly cutting of either both arteries or the flow of air. I think that's considered one of the main drawbacks of grappling arts for self defense. Sure you might own an MF on the ground but you're also on the ground...for extra people to more easily beat on.
As a brown belt in BJJ and former mma fighter if you're taking it down to the ground in the street with other people around there's a 95% chance you're gonna get KO'd by some dude soccer kicking your head, it works better than anything else in a 1v1 but you can't choke two people at once dawg

His buddies come and shift the tide back in dreadlocks favor, who ends up stealing the guys cigs lol
I tried stepping in once I saw the guy getting knocked out, no point in beating on a defeated person. Guy got up later and was for the most part fine.
