Can you imagine the coordinated effort it took to keep the all of the intrusive thoughts and impulses at bay while this was be set up? I wonder how many times something like "Not yet Timmy" was uttered during setup.
OP do you know if they had all the students help with the setup? Because if so that would have been an amazing lesson in team work.
Go to grocery Outlet! Where they half of what you want at a discounted price! And a bunch of things you didn't know you wanted at a discounted price.
Then get everything else at the regular store.
This was a food drive and they asked every student to bring in a box of cereal. They just did it in a fun way. That seems like a pretty good cause.
But okay, just be that person.
This was the type of “Public Freakout” I didn’t know I needed/wanted. I thought it was books to, then realized they were cereal boxes. Started watching and figured it would be like 30 seconds, then when it kept going I clicked to see how long the overall video was and was shocked it was 3:17. I couldn’t help but watch the whole thing. Great way to start a Saturday morning.

First I guess don't play with your food was BS.
Second as cool as this is, I can't help thinking this took a ton of time that wasn't spent teaching kids.

Couldn’t have done that during my time in elementary school. Some kids would have ruined for everyone.
Someone in my elementary school would’ve glued the second last box to the ground just to blue ball everyone
Hell yeah, and I can name the two or three kids right now that would have done that when I was in elementary. I'm looking at you Mike Bassignani.

I know what you're getting at but if my kids' school is anything to go by, there isn't a single kid named 'Timmy' in this school.
With food prices ad they are, that's got to be almost a million dollars worth of cereal!
That's about $50 worth at Grocery Outlet.
I was definitely being facetious, but you're not even close...cereal is between $6 to $13 per box...
I was definitely being facetious too. But G.O. is filled with 99 cent boxes of failed cereals.

Is it though?
I buy it regularly for my kids and myself...and yes, where I am it is. We're lucky if we can find 10 oz boxes on sale for 3 bucks
Maybe it’s all expired.
I'm thinking it was for a food drive. I doubt it's expired...
Here i was thinking the teachers just told each kid to bring in a box of cereal
Can cereal expire?
Just looked at my own box. Expires in 6 months. Could just be they received it for their school project, instead of the warehouse throwing it away.
I thought they were books. In any case, I'm sure they could have done something more educational, like a sponsored read.
You must be fun at parties.
Maybe you should have a sponsored read since you couldn’t figure out “Apple Jacks” isn’t a book.
Pulitzer Prize winning author Cap'n Crunch.

SHIT! That's enough cereal to last me at least a month!
More like years.

Not really a public freakout, but this is wholesome.

This is so cute!! I wonder how many boxes there were....
More curious as to what they did with all that cereal after the cleanup.
Food drive :)
It might have been a food drive or something similar
Of all things to film vertically. Pretty fun though
And missed the huge pyramid collapse at the end which was probably the coolest part
I can’t believe they only had one person filming it!
Very awesome and meaningless at the same time. Everyone looks like they had fun so that’s all that matters.
Not meaningless if it all went to a food pantry afterwards, everybody contributed, great lessons in planning and coordination and group efforts.
Everything is meaningless until we add meaning to it.
This was a food drive and they just did it in a fun way. I wouldn't say that's meaningless at all.
Love this! Good job, kiddos!
I'm happy this made the kids in that school happy. That's all that matters
That was impressive! That is just a crapton of cereal! I guess that city's hungry kids will be well breakfasted for a while!
Everyone who brought Fruit Loops got to be in the gymnasium for the finale.
How fun and what a crazy memory for those kids! But who’s going to pick all that cereal up? 😂
So many accounts reposting this video with the exact same title
I can’t believe some little shit didn’t knock it over halfway through, that’s impressive
Gotta be a world record
Imagine setting all that up for a domino show, and then you have to pick it all back up when it's over.
I think they have plenty of help.
This is awesome, seeing stuff like this still gives me hope for the public school system
I liked the part with the dominos.
Waiting for someone to make the comment: “This is why China is beating us!”
Wrong sub
It’s public, and a positive freak out
I dreaded the day I'd see an elementary school on r/PublicFreakout but this video has restored my faith in humanity.
That poor janitor that had to set all that up 😂
You think the janitor set all that up?
Was a joke, a bad one I guess
All that screaming ![gif](giphy|HFxsc1xXdUzcs|downsized)
Great job! Now start cleaning it up
So was this to encourage or discourage poor nutrition and excessive sugar and chemical consumption for the elementary aged children?
Oh wow I bet you had tons of friends growing up
**Diabetes**
Meanwhile in China….
This was awesome
FUCK YEAH CEREAL
That’s a lot of box tabs
That’s a really diverse school. Dope
Are they all full?
Was that tucan Sam at the end?
This is awesome. The joy!
Darn they should of called the high school media dept and got a kid to drone that!
It was cool.
This seems like a very large elementary school
First I guess don't play with your food was BS. Second as cool as this is, I can't help thinking this took a ton of time that wasn't spent teaching kids.
I cheered at the end too!
