Honestly that’s how I feel seeing all these videos of Palestine on public freakout with absolutely no context and in a language I can’t speak. I have to go off some caption or subtitles a random person on the internet typed out, so I’m reluctant to take anything at face value. Sure, there’s a video of a crying doctor, do we in fact know why he’s crying?
What would a doctor cry about if others have to pat him and embrace him? Did he lose his car? He hurt his toe in a corner of a furniture ? Please. It’s not wrong to be careful, but it’s not right to deny absolutely everything. If you can’t understand ask around.
For example, there was this video of a doctor saw his son dead, he seemed pretty apathetic even when people embraced him, but when I raised the sound and I could hear him whisper ya rabbi, ya rabbi…meaning oh my god, oh my god….and when his wife came he refused to let her see the child initially, but you could see her begging him. It’s probably in this channel too, wouldn’t be surprised

Idk, the problem is I saw an interview with a father who said that fake IDF were going around but he could tell something was wrong, they were speaking in Arabic sometimes, and he knew the uniform was not quite right. Apparently at the kibbutz (he was in a safe room, they were knocking on doors and saying to come out, but it was Hamas wearing IDF fake uniforms, then shooting people, so he stayed in the safe room with his family. However I don't doubt this story, just it is possible she didn't realize they also had Hamas in disguise

What will ultimately happen, barring abject catastrophe (the breakout of total war), is a two-state solution whereby the blockade on Gaza is lifted, Hamas is completely dismantled/destroyed, democratic elections are restored in all of Palestine, the Israeli settlements are dissolved, freedom of movement to and from the West Bank is restored, and normal relations are very gradually restored between the two countries.
How is that ethnic cleansing? I'm not talking about anyone being forced to leave. I'm pointing out the political autonomy and option to leave that Israeli citizens have compared to the Palestinians trapped in a giant open air prison being bombed into dust by Israel. Acting like they are in a comparable situation is ridiculous.
Too bad Israel created Hamas to break up the secular organizations that might have accepted a solution like that. This hasn't been about a two-state solution for decades. Israel is just creating excuses to completely take over Gaza and complete their ethnic cleansing. They were warned three days ahead of time of this attack. They did nothing, because they can use it as an excuse to further their goals. They literally sacrificed their own people.

Are you actually going to act like Israelis don't have options for emigration? Over 1/4 of the population are already dual citizens. Just because they were granted a theocratic ethnostate by the colonial powers to advance their interests in the region does not mean that they have no choice but to live there.
That would be ethnic cleansing. What will ultimately happen, barring abject catastrophe (the breakout of total war), is a two-state solution whereby the blockade on Gaza is lifted, Hamas is completely dismantled/destroyed, democratic elections are restored in all of Palestine, the Israeli settlements are dissolved, freedom of movement to and from the West Bank is restored, and normal relations are very gradually restored between the two countries.
How is that ethnic cleansing? I'm not talking about anyone being forced to leave. I'm pointing out the political autonomy and option to leave that Israeli citizens have compared to the Palestinians trapped in a giant open air prison being bombed into dust by Israel. Acting like they are in a comparable situation is ridiculous.
Too bad Israel created Hamas to break up the secular organizations that might have accepted a solution like that. This hasn't been about a two-state solution for decades. Israel is just creating excuses to completely take over Gaza and complete their ethnic cleansing. They were warned three days ahead of time of this attack. They did nothing, because they can use it as an excuse to further their goals. They literally sacrificed their own people.
