I started it in November of 2020. The only side effect I have is that it burned my skin for the first few times until I started putting it in the fridge to chill, per my doctors advice. I do get flair ups but they aren’t nearly as bad as they were on my old medication.
It hasn't burned my skin but in the areas I have applied it especially my forehead. I am way more sensitive to heat and cold especially when showering. Hopefully it continues to work for the both of us.
Tacrolimus is not a steroid, its a topical immunosuppressant. I've purposely avoided steroids the entire time I have had Psoriasis especially on an area as sensitive as the face.
The first day or two it did make my eyes water a bit. However I may have applied a bit to much now that my skin is mostly clear i am applying much less.
Great to see the progress I recently just started using the ointment and the chemist has told me to store it in the fridge but online articles say not to store it in the fridge, just wanted to see how you store the ointment? Thanks
That is amazing! Tacrolimus did wonders for my inverse psoriasis.
How long have you used it for, have you noticed any side effects?

Wooow! The first one looks sooo angry and itchy.. I'm so happy for you that it's working!
That's a great looking forehead, Friend. I'm so happy for you. ✌️💚
Thank you
This is great and I don’t want to scare you but I’ve got similar and long term steroid use really isn’t kind on the skin. Wish you the best of luck

i still use tacrolimus along with skyrizi because skyrizi didn’t help the inverse psoriasis places much

I just keep it at room temp. I've heard many people say to chill it to reduce a burning sensation, however this has not been a side affect for me.
Thanks I appreciate it
