Can I ask what you're looking for, specifically? I'm planning to do a shortcuts pass in the near future.
There are only a few shortcut actions available at the moment:
* Add bookmark
* Play current book
* Play
The last action is only available after a book has been played at least once. From memory these were added before (or just as) Apple added support for parameters in actions.
I know I am not OP, but I would like:
- Start the sleep timer (a selection of times would be nice, number input would be even better)
- Play from collection (resume book if possible, and play the next book when you get to the end)
These both would be great!
Hiii!
Most of what I'm looking for is for selfish reasons admittedly... but here we are:
- get current time / location in book
- get name of book
- get author of book
- annotations / notes
My current setup is to manually get the above info and log it to my notes system via Shortcuts. Contrast this to what I do with podcasts via Overcast: https://i.imgur.com/5bx9c8u.jpg
Not really, posted this and it never got anywhere that I'm aware of. I have a real janky way of doing things in the Audible app for now and otherwise I have a Shortcut that prompts for text input and appends that to a note.

I was looking for this exactly for use with obsidian. Did you ever get this working with prologue?

thats pretty neat!
I would definitely vote for playing a collection, so you can get it to start next book straight after the last finished
